Just don't know what to do. I've worked at the same place for nearly 4 years and I have wanted to be a supervisor that whole time. I couldn't be one till I was 18 (which happened this January) and I was finally fed up with everyone's crap. I told my boss that I was tired of people not working hard and me busting my butt. I told him that I was sick of my job. Well, now, less than a week after I told him that, the supervisor decides she is leaving after about 8 years. I hate it. If I'd known that she was leaving I NEVER would have said that. I don't just fly off the hinge. This supervisor has been saying she is going to leave since the day I got there. I finally just decided that she was never going to leave (it was always, "I'm so sick of this place," "I'm going to put in my two weeks notice," etc.) and gave up a little while ago. However, I have been SO patient for the last nearly 4 years and only one week of waiting could've got me that position. Who could've known? How ironic.
