Alrighty, I'm back. Now where was I? Oh right. OK. Here we go.
Lia's breathing was starting to speed up. Joesph closed thre proximity of their faces. Suddenly they both were jerked forward violently.
Now, that was my fault. I had been paying more attention to them then to the road and since we were going twice the speed limit, I made a big mess. Unfortunately when they were jerked forward they were both knocked out, again. Sucks for them I know.
Ok, so a few hours later we get to my house In New Orleans. The sunrise was coming quickly probably only half an hour away. I took the two highschoolers and put them in their own room and Jaquilene got a room connected to theirs by a mutual bathroom. After I got them taken care of I hurried to my crypt while the rising sunlight began to burn my fingertips and eyelids.
When I woke up the next evening I walked into a scene of chaos in my home. Apparently while I slept the three teens had woken up. They had assesed their situation differently then they had in the van.
I have to question myself and think. Why did I put three fencers in rooms with decorative swords on the walls? I guess I was to worried about the sun and was to excited at the prospects of my new coven. So anyway...
I walked into the hallway where many of my servants were eagerly watching as my head girl and boy tried to reason with Lia, Joesph, and Jaquilene at blade point. I stepped in the room and smiled. I clapped slowly and deliberately.
"Good job. You three just overpowered my lead staff members who I've had trained in combat for their positions. I applaud you. And to think you are only an eigth grader, freshman, and senior. Totally amesome." I said.
The three of them stared at me. Lia snareled like an animal. It actually scared me a little. The three of them advanced on me slowly. I smiled and went into an en-garde position and held out my finger like a blade. They raised thier eyebrows amused.
My servants scampered into the hallway wanting to get away from the insane teens as soon as possible.
Jaquilene attacked first. I made a parry six and thrust her back so she fell. Lia growled. She was really actually scaring me with this animal behaviour. She jump lunged at me. I distance parried and bulustial lunged back at her making her fall over. I picked up her blade and she stared at me wide eyed. Joeseph came at me quickly. I parry fived and knocked his blade from his hand. I shoved him in the chest. Lia grabbed Jaquilene's blade and growled protectively and flunged at me.
Now, I let her do this so I could scare the crap out of them and to make it easier for me to say ' I'm a vampire' and have them believe me.
Her blade ran straight through my torso. I smirked.
"You are a little b***h aren't you. Trying to protect your senior?" i cackled. I stood up and pushed them both onto the ground next to Jaquilene. Lia was staring at me with one eyebrow cocked up and a pout. Jaquilene just stared wide eyed. Joeseph glared at me. He placed an arm around Lia protectivly and then pulled Jaquilene closer to him and Lia.
I yanked the blade out and breathed deeply. I let the blood on the blade catch the light of the lamps in the room.
"Such a pretty color." i muttered
"Who are you and what do you want of us?" Lia whispered
"Well, for one. If you hadn't guessed already I'm a vampire. A damn powerful one. And two, I'm Lamia Landry." I said glancing down at her.
"And we are here to die or be sired?" Jaquilene asked perversly.
"Well, I don't know. It seems none of you have the respect to not impale your host so I may change my orignal plans and kill you all." I said acidiclly. I maintained in the back of my mind to not strike out and slap the two girls. I didn't want to kill them. When they got over their bitchiness they would realize what had actually happened to them.
"Are you both insane?!" Joeseph yelled at the two girls.
"This being obviously has superior power over us and your giving her backtalk? I thought both of your goals in life was to become vampires! Why are you acting like this?" he asked them.
Lia bit her lip. She knew he was right. She slided closer to him. She looked back up at me.
"Sorry. Miss Landry. Its just i was never exactly taught what manners to keep in a kidnapped situation." she said quietly.
I smiled down at Lia and listened to the thoughts Jaquilene wasn't voicing. She wanted to believe I was a vampire but her instincts were telling her self-preservation get the hell outta here.
"You are a very sweet boy Joeseph. I can see why Lia takes such intrest in you." i said
Lia blushed and Joeseph smiled triumphantly.
"I hope you don't mind my asking, but might you tell us what exactly is to become of us?" he asked
"Yes please. If you truely are what you say you are, I must know what is our fate!" Lia said her eyes becoming hungry like a wolves.
Now this is where things get interesting. Because right as I am about to tell them what is going to happen to them There is an explosion and the back wall of the room we are in gets blown into towards us. I leaped behind the three of them and shielded them from the flying chunks of wall.
Jaquilene shrieked. Joeseph clutched Lia tightly shielding her with his body. Lia turned her eyes to the explosion and growled deeply.
Her growling was really starting to disturb me, for one so enamored by my kind she acted very much like a werewolf.
Ignoring her for the moment, I kept my concentration on the gaping hole in my home. I hissed at the beings that came through and crouched down when the dust settled. The three teens behind me stood up and backed away but face the same way I did. All three had picked up their weapons.
In lept three wolves. I hissed again. The leader stood on his hind legs and began to shift form. The two flanking him followed his lead. When three human figures stood before me I too stood. I glared at them.
"What do you want?" I demanded of the leader who turned out to be a female. She pointed to Lia, Joeseph, and Jaquilene.
"And you intend to do what with them? Kill them or make them on of you? I won't allow either they are mine!" I hissed acidiclly.
"You don't understand. They are all of sang noir." she said
"Impossible!" i say.
"They are. You know what children such as these are worth. You can keep them, but you know what will happen if they aren't transformed by both species." she said
"I know." i hissed scowling
"Excuse me, but what is sang noir?" Lia asked timidly
"It means you accept both venoms. And if you are sired by only one breed and not the other your blood will destroy itself." the wolf told her
"Meaning?" Joeseph asked
"If you are sired only by Lamia and not by one of my pack you will die." the wolf said simply.
"Ok, then." Lia said.
"Are you sure they are?" i asked.
"Yes. Yaana confirmed it." the wolf said
"Damn." i whispered.
"Do you still wish to sire the only to see them die or will you allow me to give them and infusion of my venom?" the wolf asked
"We will have to bring them to thier full potentiol. And I will retain full ownership. Do you understand Veronica?" i asked her
"Sure. My pack is already far to large for three more pups. We will have someone stay with you for a time untill they are accostumed to their wolf natur however." veronica says firmly.
"Of course." i told her
Well I belive the sun is rising. I will write more later.
