Well, how does one begin a journal entry on an online journal that hasn't been written if for nearly two and a half years? I dunno, but I think mentioning how this entry came to be written after all that time would have to do.
So, I was on msn and looking through my old msn-space and found my old blog entries. Naturally this got me wanting to read all of my crappy old stuff so I went on to my livejournal to read old posts too. Finally, I remembered that I once used Gaia Journals quite regularly too, which led me here. Having read through all my old posts I decided it would be fun to make a new new journal entry even though I have always gone on about how it is a huge waste of time (not on Gaia as much as my other blogs). And I decided my Gaia journal is the best place for this because it has the least risk of someone actually reading it! Not that I mind people reading or anything...
Anyway, what's new? IRL, I've finally finished high school and in 3 days time, I will officially be a student and the University of Auckland. From reading my past entries on Gaia, the only other thing I can see that's changed is that I got a better, faster computer last year. However, it's still crap when compared to a "normal" computer of today. ><
Gaia...has changed a lot since then. >< I still remember those posts when I had 4k saved up because I wanted those Golden Laurels! I don't remember the actual cost of them at the time, but I'm fairly sure that I would've been closer to being able to afford them then than I could _ever_ be now. On the other hand, I feel pretty stupid now having spent 38k on fairy wings when they're available for less that 20k now if you know where to look. >< And 38k back then was worth way more than 38k now...Heh, at least I can say I managed to get my fairy wings when they were still the most expensive common...
I haven't quested anything in years...in fact, I think the last thing I acutally "quested" for was...*goes to find old quest thread*. Oh yeah, my Coco Kitty. Yeah well I got him though according to that old thread I still only have 9k towards that. Anywho, since then I've saved and spent when I wanted something...and just the the other day I bought myself a Biancamella. 6th Gen...still, its fully evolved and I really only wanted it for the item anyway. And now it is officially the first and only EI I own. Oh and also, somewhere along the way DIs stopped being called DIs and are now MCs and I think since then, I haven't actually got a single one. Mostly cos the new MC/DIs aren't really appealing the way that some of the old ones were.. I remember them screaming and me to part with my carefully collected gold (and some of them, even to part with some of my less prized items in order to be able to acquire them).
Apart from that, meh, Gaia's still all good. I wish I could actually play zOMG but my (new but still crap) computer lags whenever I try. So I guess I'll just go back to what I've been doing for the past couple of years - lurking the GCD. >< So yeah, if you _do_ get through all of this...um...leave a comment please? xD Tell me what about your life could possibly be _so_ boring that you'd rather read my journal. xD
