if it falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound? a question that has rattled the thoughts of many people over the years. I have an addition to this question. the question asks if "no one" is around to hear it ,which implies a human, but what about animals? are the questioners animal racist or something? also if the tree isn't in a forest ,meaning in a city lot or something, and it falls people are definetly going to hear it bacause it probably knocked out a wall of a building.
