Chapter Three
Blood curdling screams from upstairs sent both Livana and Fair to their feet, rushing for the stairs. Each of their steps were insinc as they hurridly ran up the stairs towards where they believe the sound came from.
Door opening, a cloaked figure carring Caracinia walks to just outside the bathroom as Fair and Livana reached the top.
"Caracinia!" Livana shouts rushing forward.
Fair grabs her shoulder and pulls her back behind him.
"Hey! I know how to fight to you know!" She reminded him as she tried to push past him.
He holds her back with his arm, blocking her path. "Would you calm down Silent Moon? There is no need to fight." Fair sighs, shaking his head slowly.
Confused, she tilts her head, stepping back, then looks up at him. "And why not?" Livana snaps.
"Wonderful. Another one with attitude." Fair mumbles to himself.
"What?"
"Nothing." he sighs then lowers his arm to his side. He raises his other arm and extends it towards the cloaked figure. "This is Silent Butterfly."
Hood of the cloaked figure drops, revealing a sixteen year-old male with short black hair and bright blue eyes. "I hate being called that!" growling as he adds, "My name is Alex! So call me that!"
"Being called what?" Livana asks, trying hard to hide her mischievous smile.
"That name." Alex replied while glaring at Fair.
"What name?" she tilts her head to the other side, biting her lip to keep from snickering.
"Livana." Fair says sternly with arms folded as he looked at her from the corner of his eyes.
Livana pouts. "Ruin my fun." She blinks the looks at Alex confused. "Wait...Why are you holding Caracinia?" She asks, pointing to him.
"I heard her scream and came running in and found her on the floor. Was I just suppose to leave her there?" Alex rolls his eyes then continues, "I was taking her back to her room."
Livana tilts her head to the opposite side of before. "How did you get in?" She asks confused.
"Smart a**..." Livana mumbles, fighting the erge to hit him.
"Language." Fair reminds Livana. "Anywhere Silent Rose is, the door is usually locked, Silent Butterfly." He informs Alex as he leans himself against the wall, keeping his untrusting gaze upon Alex.
"Stop calling me that!" Alex growls, nearly dropping Caracinia to the cold floor. "It was already unlocked when I got here" He says while shifting her in his arms, regaining his grip on her unconcious body.
"You idiot! Keep a better hold of her!" Livana freaked. "I mean really, she can't be that heavy."
"Would you like to hold her?" Alex asks while he glared at Livana.
Fair shakes his head sighing and walks over to Alex, stopping just in front of him. "Hand her to me first then you two can finish your petty quarrel." Fair places one arm under Caracinia's knees and the other under her back, around her shoulders, gently lifting her from Alex. He turns his back to them, walking off with Caracinia in his arms.
Alex and Livana watch Fair walk away then turn to each other with a shrug of their shoulders.

"Don't..." Caracinia whispers, halfly stirred from her previous incident.
"Caracinia? Fair asks worried with a slight hint of curiousity in his voice as he stops just before Caracinia's bedroom. "Silent rose, what is it?"
"Don't....please...Don't" Caracinia whispers trembling. "Please not my room....please not there..."
"It is alright Caracinia." Fair whispers, holding her closer to his body. "I am here...Nothing will harm you."
"My room...." Caracinia continues in her faint whisper. "Poison...my room...She's there"
