I have the one thing I sought after for a very long time...
And no it's not from sex...
Or my craft...
Or my hobbies...
It's from my work. My job...
I have been doing the same thing (but for different companies) for so long that sometimes they blend into one. But this week... validation.
Monetary validation at that.
It seems shallow and materialistic... but damn it feels great when someone pays you what you're worth.
I love it when the powers that be say... this is what we value you at.

Now I can get that really cool torture device I have always wanted!
