Part 4
“Oh my god!!!” Millie yelled. “Look! That poor girl just jumped off the cliff!” Millie and Ryan dashed after her.
“No, no, no!” Lilia said in frustration when they reached her. “I’m all right; I’m wearing damage-proof clothes. Now go rescue your brother while I distract the guards. Hurry! Charles is trying to kill him!!!”
“Are you sure you’re all right?” Millie asked. She was a very caring and compassionate person.
“Yes!” Lilia said. “Now go!”
Ryan and Millie nodded, running into the castle.
Underneath all the commotion, in the dungeon, Charles and Andrew were dueling. Andrew had snatched a dangling sword from the wall, and now he and Charles were deep in a well-matched sword fight. Andrew pinned Charles down, and Charles’s sword clattered to the floor. “I’ve got you now.” Andrew grinned, “Any last words?”
“Yes.” Charles snickered, “Got to hell.” With that, he pulled out a pistol, which had been hidden under his belt, and shot Andrew in the head. Andrew fell to the ground, and Charles sprung up.
“Well, well, well.” Charles said, nudging Andrew’s bloodied head with his boot so that Andrew faced him. “Who just said their last words now? I hope your sister will give you an appropriate funeral. That is, if she even makes it out of here alive!” Charles cackled an evil laugh.
“Nooo!!!” Millie cried, bursting into the room. She took one look at her brother’s dead body and started charging at Charles. He reached for his gun, but Ryan tackled him and tied him up.
“One down, one to go.” Ryan said. “Come on, Millie. If we make it out of here, will you marry me?”
“Of course.” Millie replied, and they headed off to battle the guards.
Charles reached for the gun again, struggling hard, as his hands were bound by ropes. Finally, he reached it, and aimed for Millie, just as Lilia entered the room. “Oh no you don’t!” She said, taking the gun away and throwing it to Millie.
Next, the other members of the O.O.S., including the director, arrived and took care of Lord Thornblade and his guards. Millie buried Andrew next to their parents while Ryan comforted her. As for Charles and Lilia, would you believe they fell in love?! Well, they did. Everyone lived happily ever after.
Epilogue
Lilia adjusted the white lilies-of-the-valley tucked into Millie’s curly brown hair. “Perfect!” She said. “Now, come on. The crowd is waiting.”
The whole town had gathered at the church for Millie and Ryan’s wedding. Millie sighed nervously, and smoothed out her frilly white dress. She could feel the butterflies fluttering inside her stomach. She gulped and walked outside the room.
Elegantly, Millie paraded down the aisle, followed by Lilia in her satin bridesmaid dress. At the end, Ryan and the priest stood waiting, Ryan looking dashing in a new black tuxedo. Millie’s heart skipped a beat.
The priest recited the vows, and they both said, “I do.” Ryan then swept Millie off her feet and sweetly kissed her.
“You look beautiful.” He whispered into her ear, and Millie blushed. The crowd applauded wildly. Ryan and Millie waved, Millie tossing the rose bouquet into a surprised Lilia’s hands. They hopped into the “just married” car and drove away, off on their honeymoon.
