I'm tired of always worrying about people that are drifting out of my life. It hurts to think that people who I cared for, or even still care about, no longer care, especially since I'm not someone who has a lot of close friends, or even just friends in general. But it's pointless to cling to someone who doesn't want to be a part of my life anymore. It's pointless to contact someone who doesn't want to talk to me. It's pointless to worry about someone who doesn't even think about me anymore. So I'll stop.

I'm not going to think about them anymore. I'm not going to mention them anymore. I already gave them their chances, and it's clear that they aren't willing to put any effort into sustaining our friendships. From now on, they'll just be someone that I used to know... It's been over two years now. I don't know them anymore, I won't worry about them anymore, I won't talk about them anymore. That said, it doesn't apply to everyone.

I've also decided to put more effort into staying in touch with the people who do care about our friendships. After all, they're the ones who have been there for me when I needed them, so I want to be there for them.

-sigh- Too many serious things going through my head lately. Life, friendships, coffee. Because Hilary told me to listen to Owl City and his voice reminds me of Benjamin Gibbard's voice, from when he was younger. It's really nostalgic and mellow and got me thinking about all this.
