“Yeah, at the café”

“Then it’s a date!”
“See you!” Ben waved as he watched his friend, Usagi, leave. When Ben arrived at his last class, he saw Elaine wave to him,
“What’s up?”
“The sun, silly,”
“Ha ha, you’re funny” laughed Elaine.
“Yeah, yeah. I gotta go.” Ben saw Miss Leon glaring at him. Sooner than he realized it, class was over. Miss Leon looked at Ben,
“Are you okay?”
“Huh? Oh! Yeah.” Ben jumped when Miss Leon tapped his shoulder, “how long has class been dismissed?”
“About fifteen minutes.”
“Oh, no! I had a date with Usagi!”
“A date!?”
“A study date!” sighed Ben, rolling his eyes at eccentric Miss Leon. As he nearly sprinted through the hall, he pulled his jacket on. Just after he entered the café, the mysterious man from the previous day waved him over,
“May I have a green tea?”
“Right away, sir!” Ben winked shyly and brewed a steaming cup of tea. Right when he placed the cup on the table, Usagi walked in the door.
“Hi, Ben!!” he called over the noisy chatter of people in the café. This loud shout caused the man to spill the tea on his lap.
“Oh, my! I’m so sorry, sir!” Ben apologized as he quickly grabbed a wet towel, “I overfilled it…”
“Its fine, I’m used to it.” said the man, his voice forgiving and soothing compared to the usual nasal tone of the lady customers gossiping over Jody’s new boyfriend, or whatnot. Ben wiped the table and floor clean of the spill and offered a clean towel to the man. Usagi was now right behind Ben, staring at the tall man.
“Was I too loud?” Usagi whispered timidly into Ben’s ears.
“Perhaps just a bit!” Ben said sarcastically, turning around and glaring at Usa.
The man then turned to see Ben huffing at Usa, and sympathized with the scared look on the small boy’s face.
