She wasn't home, and her brother was pretty depressed. I guess she's gone somewhere else. I asked him where Jennifer was. He didn't know.
"Dammit, Where could she be?" I guess i'll go back home and call her. On my way back home, I started to worry if she'd taken her own life. That would suck. On my way, I saw her crying on the seat of a bus stop. I looked at the time, it was 9:13PM. I walked up to her. I didn't rush, I just walked up to her with a straight face. Yet I did care about how she felt so all I did was ask how she did feel.
"How're you feeling?" I asked.
"Horrible, first I lose you..."
"You never lost me." I tried to console her, and make her feel a bit better.
"Emotionally... When was the last time we actually ever talked?"
"uhhhhhh..." I was at a loss for words... I should've thought about what to say before I came up to her. Like that old chinese saying "Care before er", but I didn't really need to say anything next.
"Then I lost Zack, I don't even know what happened to him! The only evidence the police found was what the neighbors had to say. His house caught fire and-"
"Caught on fire?! Did they find his body?" I was really hoping they didn't. Yeah, his spine was stabbed pretty bad, and they found his head in the microwave. And what's worse, there were no fingerprints on the scene..." She was crying like crazy, and on the inside, I was really hysterical, and just overjoyed that I wouldn't get caught.
"Jennifer, everything will be ok... I promise." I held her close to me, and I smiled.
"Trust me Jennifer."
"When was the last time you just called me Jen? or Jenny?"
"uhhhhh..." That time it was on purpose. She laughed a little bit, I'm glad i was able to make her smile.
"Did they ever find the bodies of those guys that were about to kill us? and more importantly, how are you feeling? I mean, you almost killed me..."
"I'm feeling better... Jennifer, I think I love you again."
"Really?"
"Yeah"
"Prove it..." I had to do it, she was feeling depressed... I kissed her gently on the lips. I'm glad i could make her feel better.
When our lips seperated, she opened her eyes, and the bus arrived.
"Sorry, but I have to go now." It sucks that I had to go, but alrighty then.
"See you Luis..."
"Bye... I love you Jen." My departure seemed pretty romantic.
"Hey kid, Metrocard?" The bus driver asked. Ah s**t... $80. I got kicked off on the next stop because I had no Metrocard -.-* dammit. I walked the rest of the way.
