I witnessed something that really bothered me in the GCD. A person who I presume is/was popular at some point was basically spamming and a lot of people joined in. Another person pointed out that the popular person was, in fact, spamming and everyone started flaming her for it. My question is why should the popular person get away with spamming in a forum that normally looks down on such behavior? I don't believe that just because someone is popular that they should get away with spamming/trolling/etc. I reported the thread as spam, but it still bothered me the way everyone flamed the person who pointed out the thread for what it was. Spamming is spamming, no matter how popular you are.
