[[As she grew up she was very sick. She was also part mutant and her parents were poor so they couldn't take care of her. They threw her out of their lives and sold her to the military, where she was experimented on. She was taken to Xaviers school for the gifted by Xavier himself in almost the same circumstances as Logan.
