He almost never picks a fight without a very good reason, because he feels that needless conflict is beneath him. He fights only when he feels someone to be so deprived or disgusting that he feels they do not deserve to live any longer. As one could imagine, this makes Kozamaru a very unpredictable, and potentially dangerous, individual. ✖ ‖ b i o g r a p h y Born to the small Ookaze Clan of Kozakorei village, a small village outside of Konohagakure in the Land of Fire, Kozamaru showed extraordinary promise in the use of fire jutsus, and a powerful connection to several other chakra natures, from an early age. The source of Kozamaru's unique affinity towards the elements was soon revealed by the sudden manifestation of a rare Kekkei Genkai known only to pass to every 100th generation of the Ookaze Clan, the "Devil's Touch." A viciously devastating bloodline limit that, once fully awakened, could allow the user to reduce the population of any standing structure, or small village, to zero with a simple touch. The manifestation of Kozamaru's bloodline limit was a rather devastating one, as the young shinobi accidentally caused the death of nearly a dozen of his fellow classmates while still at the shinobi academy by accidentally turning his sparring opponent into a living bomb. Kozamaru soon learned, based on research from previous holders of the bloodline limit in his ancestry, that the ability required direct skin-to-skin, or skin-to-surface, contact with its target before it could take effect. As a precaution, Kozamaru began wearing clothing that covered almost every inch of his body except for his eyes during his early years as a genin. As time went on, Kozamaru's bloodline limit slowly grew in ferocity, manifesting a new level of destructive power every few years. Luckily however, with each new level of power, came a new level of control. As the years went on, Kozamaru eventually learned how to control the activation of his ability, and thus abandoned his once stifling attire for something easier to fight in. As his abilities peaked later on in his life, Kozamaru was soon capable of turning almost any material he touched, even live humans, into living bombs. Over time his dark ability earned him the nickname "The Living Bomb" due to his rather unique calling card of not killing shinobi he defeated, but instead turning their bodies into walking explosives and leaving them to be torn apart by their own remaining chakra. Ookaze's powers of chakra manipulation soon allowed him to analyze the makeup of his own bloodline limit, leading him to discover that it was in fact a elemental combination technique utilizing 4 of the 6 basic elemental paths, earth, fire, wind, and lightning. This knowledge eventually allowed Kozamaru to enhance his own bloodline limit, and combine it with other jutsus to create an explosive style of fighting never before realized by any of his previous ancestors, with the exception of the family patriarch, Hakai Ookaze, who had pioneered similar techniques hundreds of years before. Kozamaru made numerous attempts to join the ranks of shinobi squads in Konohagakure, his sister village, but sadly his attempts were always rejected because of his rather indifferent, yet brutal, fighting ideology. Kozamaru had been taught since birth that the Ookaze Clan had been driven out of Konoha centuries ago, after one of his ancestors, a user of his families bloodline limit the Akuma no Tachi, threatened to turn Konoha into a crater if he was not made Hokage. The elders of Konoha saw the Ookaze Clan as being too dangerous to be allowed to stay, and so they were driven out of Konoha, and forced to live in exile. The elders expected the Ookaze Clan would just die off, but much to their dismay, the clan formed their own village, Kozakurei Village, hidden deep within the caverns of a mountain range not too far from Konoha, but hidden and guarded well enough that not even the Konoha ANBU would be able to enter unnoticed, or unharmed. Since that time, the members of Ookaze Clan have shunned Konoha entirely as well, forever hating those who had exiled their people and left them all to die and rot because of the actions of a single individual. The only reason the Konoha Elders had not attempted to slaughter the Ookaze like they did the Uchiha, was because the Akuma no Tachi ability was so incredibly rare, and it was very seldom that a shinobi with the ability would survive till adulthood due to the technique's volatile, and unstable nature. Kozamaru's dream was to restore the honor of the Ookaze Clan by becoming Hokage the RIGHT way...after which he would be able to welcome his fellow clansmen back into Konoha with open arms. But, as time has always told, some things never change, and the elders of Konoha still fear the Ookaze Clan deeply. Eventually, Kozamaru decided that he would prove the superiority of the Ookaze by becoming a legendary shinobi on his own. One day, a Jounin from Konoha mistook Kozamaru for a criminal wanted by the Land of Fire and attacked him. Kozamaru killed the Jounin without hesitation, and quite brutally, and left his body outside the Konoha Village gates where it exploded, destroying the gates and a small portion of the surrounding wall. It is for that reason that Ookaze became a Missing Nin, because try as he might have to explain the situation, no one in Konoha would have believed him anyway, and he knew that he was as good as dead from the moment he crossed blades with the Jounin. Each user has had to learn to control this unstable power through intense mental discipline and concentration, however, very few have actually mastered its virtually limitless applications in battle. The technique itself involves the natural ability to manipulate the earth, water, fire, and lightning chakra natures simultaneously, in order to alter the chemical composition of a target and transform it into an explosive, which can be detonated remotely with proper chakra control, or simply stopped in mid-transition, causing the chakra natures within the body to violently collide and result in a powerful explosion. The time between the target getting affected by the touch and the moment of detonation depends greatly on the amount of chakra the intended target possesses, and the length of time that the target remained in contact with the user before being released. A skilled master of this ability can actually freely control the chakra manipulation when used on a human being, allowing that user to choose whether or not to initiate the appropriate changes within the person's own chakra that result in that person's own chakra becoming unstable, and resulting in detonation. Keeping true to this concept, the more chakra a person who is affected by the Devil's Touch has, the longer it will take for the affliction to spread, but the more powerful the resulting explosion will become, as the affected target's own chakra natures violently attack one another from within their body, causing immense pain, and eventually, detonation. Naturally, the user of the Devil's Touch can affect inanimate objects in much the same manner by transferring their own chakra into the object, and then causing the chain reaction, thus producing the same explosive effect. Anything caught within 500 yards of the explosion's point of origin is instantaneously atomized, while the force of the blast annihilates everything else surrounding it with devastating force. Genjutsu \| Illusion Techniques ✖ ☼ Chōshinka (Butterfly Needle Flame) Kozamaru creates an illusion in which countless butterflies surround the opponent. The opponent sinks into the ground, giving him the chance to place an explosive tag on their face before cutting off the illusion, revealing that all the butterflies were exploding tags that all detonate alongside the original. ✖ ☼ Magen: Jigoku Kōka no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Descending Hell Technique) This technique causes the illusion of a tremendous ball of fire falling from the sky into a designated area. The targets involved in the illusion literally feel the ball's hot temperature getting closer at it falls, but it does no real damage. Its main purpose is to be used as a distraction while another attack is devised to catch the opponent off guard. ✖ ☼ Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique) This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great. Futon \| Wind Nature ✖ ☼ Futon: Kaze no Yaiba (Wind Release: Wind Blade) Creates a nearly invisible blade of wind, that is impossible to block, but relatively simple to dodge due to the fact that it visibly disrupts the air it cuts through. Requires no tool to perform, and can be launched quickly from the hands without the use of seals if the user is a master. ✖ ☼ Futon: Kyofu Yashi no Jutsu (Gale Palm Technique) Gathers a dense amount of wind chakra in the palm of the users hands and launches it forward with the force of a cannon blast. Katon \| Fire Nature ✖ ☼ Katon: Kakyu no Jutsu (Fire Sphere Technique) Similar to the Rasengan in nature, Kozamaru gathers fire nature chakra in the palm of his hand and molds it into a blazing, jet black sphere that incinerates its target upon impact. ✖ ☼ Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique) The user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body and changes it into a dragon head-shaped fireball. The user then skillfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. Even outside of the attack range, its power and reliability are stressed. The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an upward movement of air currents which in turn can give rise to thunder clouds. A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession and anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes. ✖ ☼ Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Grand Fireball) A technique where the user builds up fire chakra in their stomach and then blows a large ball of fire from their mouth. ✖ ☼ Katon: Goukakyuu Kekkai no Jutsu (Grand Fireball Barrier) Creates a sphere of fire around the user so hot that it melts or incinerates anything that strikes it, protecting the user from harm. ✖ ☼ Katon: Housenka no Jutsu (Mythical Fire Flower Technique) A technique where the user blows multiple fire balls from his mouth. It can also be combined with throwing weapons, which creates weapons engulfed in flames. ✖ ☼ Kasai no Fukugen no Jutsu (Fires of Restoration Technique) Though the name suggests that this technique is a healing technique, the fact of the matter is that it only acts as a supplementary jutsu to be used either during or after combat. This technique calls upon the fire chakra within the user to come to the skin's surface and sear any wounds shut. The wounds are cauterized, therefore the process is quite painful, but it can be quite useful when the need to stop serious bleeding quickly arises. Kozamaru can use this technique on others people as well thanks to his Kekkei Genkai. Scars are almost always a result due to the crude nature in which the wounds are sealed. ✖ ☼ Katon: Karyuu Endan (Fire Dragon Flame Bullet) A jutsu that sends a bolt of fire towards the opponent from the users mouth. This technique has rather minimal destructive power, but can be used quickly and on the move so it can be potentially deadly in the right hands. Raiton \| Lightning Nature ✖ ☼ Raiton: Raikyū (Lightning Release: Lightning Ball) Kozamaru can gather a focused amount of lightning chakra into a ball between his hands and launch it at his enemies. He charges and fires this technique in much the same manner as a Kamehameha wave. ✖ ☼ Raiton: Hikari no Senbon (Lightning Release: Needles of Light) Kozamaru is able to use shape manipulation to form senbon needles out of lightning chakra and launch them at his enemies. The penetration capability of his technique is without equal, and the needles also cause temporary paralysis in the areas where they hit. Doton \| Earth Nature ✖ ☼ Doton: Ganban Kyū (Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin) This technique allows the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent. ✖ ☼ Doton: Iwagakure no Jutsu (Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique) This technique allows the user to blend into rocks and then move in and out of other rocks undetected. Kekkei Genkai Jutsus ✖ ☼ Kuki Shuryudan no Jutsu (Air Grenade Technique) By rapidly compressing and igniting wind and fire chakra natures together, Ookaze can create low yield aerial explosives anywhere within a 50ft radius of himself. ✖ ☼ Chain of Destruction Technique Ookaze uses his power to turn ordinary plants, stones, and other materials into small explosives that result in a massive chain reaction. Though these explosives are low in power they make up for it with great numbers. This technique is used through chakra control of wind, fire, and earth chakra natures and requires minimal physical contact to perform. ✖ ☼ Ningen Hakai no Jutsu (Human Destruction Technique) Kozamaru can turn anyone into a human bomb through touch. This technique takes a somewhat long or short time to take effect depending on the chakra of his intended target, but requires a very little chakra. ✖ ☼ Mitsuto Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Exploding Mist Technique) This technique creates a cloud of mist infused with a volatile mixture of water, lightning, and earth nature chakras, which the user releases from their mouth. The mist itself his highly unstable and takes on qualities very similar to nitro glycerin, as it soaks into any permeable surface, and even condenses on solid surfaces. The user can then detonate the explosive mist via a fire or lightning based attack, or simply wait for their opponent to use a technique that could ignite the chain reaction themselves. This technique is dangerous, as the effects of the mist are indiscriminate and does not discern between friend or foe. 	Known Jutsu List All standard ninjutsu such as shadow clone, escape, substitution, etc... Dragon Fire Technique (Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu) Type: Ninjutsu A powerful technique which will surround the user by flames. Out of those flames comes a very powerful beam of fire. Fire Dragon Flame Blast (Katon, Karyuu Endan) Type: Ninjutsu A jutsu that sends a stream of fire towards the opponent, in the shape of a large dragon, from the users mouth. Grand Fireball (Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu) Type: Ninjutsu A technique where the user blows a large ball of fire from his mouth. Fires of Restoration Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu This technique calls upon the burning chakra within the user to come to the skin's surface and seal any wounds shut. The wounds are carterized shut so therefore the process is painful, but this can be used on others as well. Scars are usually a result. Mythical Fire Flower (Katon Housenka no Jutsu) Type: Ninjutsu A technique where the user blows multiple fire balls from his mouth. It can also be combined with throwing weapons, which creates weapons engulfed in flames. Which is reminiscent of Mario and luigi. Grand Fireball Barrier (Katon Goukakyuu Kekkai no Jutsu) Type: Ninjutusu/Barrier Creates a sphere of fire around the user so hot that it melts or incinerates anything that strikes it, protecting the user from harm. Lightning Edge [Raikiri (Chidori)] Type: Ninjutsu A secret move for assassination purposes. Its secret lies in the speed of the thrust, and the activation of the body to generate a large amount of Chakra. He then concentrates that large amount into the thrusting arm and rushes towards the opponent. This ability causes the body to speed up, and therefore making the attack more deadly. It emits a distinct chirping sound similar to a thousand birds (Chidori) chirping. Wind Blade (Kaze no Yaiba) Type: Ninjutsu Creates a blade of wind, that is impossible to block. Requires no tool to perform Rasengan Type: Ninjutsu The user swirls the air in there hand into a sphere, and mold it with Chakra. They then attack the opponent with it, which will usually cause them to go flying backwards, spinning around. Sometimes the attack will burn the opponent where they are hit by it.
