just watch me.
*thud*
and here I lay, on my back, completely free of any brain activity.

so I mull.

These past two weeks have been, to say the least, occupying. Last week was our first week off for the summer, and I started it the day after school ended by starting up one of my odd-jobs for the summer. This one lady at my church actually asked me if I could come and help her paint her house, and for two days of work (like 10 hours or something) I got $100. And a free movie. xP (sorting her VHS tapes, noticed she had two of the same, and got to keep it. haha so strange...)

So tomorrow I'm going there again...

VBS this week. Yesterday I ended up helping mom upstairs because Michelle (the usual helper with snacks) was on-call for work at the hospital, plus one of her sons has a bad flu or something...

So glad I have my license... makes things freaking easier than they used to be. For example, I just up and left for Jen's earlier today so I could return some of Krin's manga and I could get my library book back from Jenna. rolleyes I was gonna give her Bartimaeus back, but she said she didn't want it until it was done.

Which randomly puts me on the topic of Taylor's awesome 16th b-day party on Saturday. (!!) x3 It was fun- Karen and I didn't even get lost once (it's essentially a straight line down from Raymond...), and we met all sortsa fun people. =3 And then i was looking up stuff on FB earlier and she got a wicked awesome tattoo on her back for her b-day from her mom.

Tay's b-day present from me: I made her a Devil Imp Plushie. (like to scale and everything xPP)

hmmm...

WAYYY too much freaking crap going on.

Also have to drive Lonnie to b-ball once in awhile for the next 5 weeks.

Speaking of which, he went to the doc today and found out he has freaking ATHLETE'S FOOT. -.-;; good bye, bare feet, hello flipflops 24/7. *sigh*

... oh I have a doc appt. tomorrow too. sweatdrop I need to call ahead to Mary and let her know I'll be a little late...

oh and working for her is easy: she's old, so she likes taking lots of breaks and feeding me tap water with burnt peanut butter cookies the size of silver dollars. xD plus since we go to the same church, she kinda knew about my piano "talent" (tch that's bull- I can't play worth a crap. 'specially since I'm horrible at sight-reading and improvision... *sigh*) so I got to play just random songs for her out of some hymn books she had lying around for about half an hour.

speaking of piano, I have chosen my song for the fair in August! The pick: You'll Be in My Heart by Phil Collins (offa Tarzan (the soundtrack)). ... the music is in-key with the soundtrack... along with 6 sharps switching to 4 flats back to 6 sharps for awhile then back to the 4 flats then finishing the song with (thankfully) just one flat. *grins* and to think I have it almost down already...

at least the skinniest bit of it's skeleton, at least. xPP

*muses*

......... 4-H is starting to rule my summer again. as always. rolleyes If you were to look at my computer now, you'd see two 4-H website tabs open, as well as two pdf documents pertaining to 4-H activities. urg. too much compared to usually nothing.

whoops. I need to find my agenda from our last meeting. I need it for the secretary's report next meeting... (*swears under breath and starts thinking about where the heck it could be*)

.... today I thought I ran over a cat, but it was just a big rock that somehow spontaneously placed itself in the middle of the driveway. o.O?

omg ever went the wrong way down a one-way? turned onto an entrance ramp thinking it was an exit and almost met a car face-on in the single lane. sweatdrop that was like 2 weeks ago but I keep thinking about how scary it was...

booger brains, the lot of us.
