I told my cousin about Gigi and I's situation. Well, sort of. I told him that Gigi was suspected of killing some kid. My cousin understood, but questioned why we couldn't tell the cops nicely instead of running away. I told him that we got scared. The next day after school I decided to go to a friends house. I met up with Bobby to go to Ti and Mana's house. They are twin brothers just so you know. When Bobby and I got there we saw Ti, Mana, and Josh sitting on the stairs to Ti's house. We all played RockBand 2, Halo 3, and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 4. It was a fun day. But I'd have to say that the best part of it was that Mana had purchased a Boken wooden katana off of the internet.
"Yeah, it's used for practicing though. But I bet it would still hurt if you smacked someone in the face with it." He laughed when he said it. It was extremely fun that day. Learning to use a katana, and playing all those videogames with my friends. It had been an extremely long time since I'd spent any time with them.
"Hey Mana." I said.
"Yeah Luis?" He was putting away the katana at the same time.
"I just wanted to ask you if I can borrow the katana for a while. I don't know how to put it any other way, but there are some people after me. I need the protection." All he did was laugh.
He said "Dude all you want to do is show to your other friends!" He laughed and handed me the Boken katana. "Here man, just be careful with it ok?"
"I definitely will." I smiled and thanked him. I walked back home and put the katana under my belt. I took out the katana before entering my cousins building. "Anyone who stands in my way, will receive one serious a**-kicking..." I laughed hard and went into the building, took the elevator, and entered my cousins apartment. As soon as I entered the door, I found a good reason to draw my sword...
