We walked along the side walk laughing like morons over an immature joke about a infomercial. I noticed that her coat was thin, I held her closer so that her cheek grazed against mine for a moment. She giggled and brushed patch of hair away from her face. I took off my coat and draped it over her shoulders "No no, come on its freezing, take it back," she beckoned.

I hadn't notice the light haze of snow falling from the sky, how could ? when she was around me she stole all my attention. "Your freezing, besides I've been lugging around this big ol' thing all day, I'm toasty enough without it," I returned. She gave up, knowing all too well that there was nothing she could say to coax me into taking it back. It was cold, but she blushed my favorite shade of pink, the pink on her was the only pink I tolerated at all. I wrapped my arm around her and we began to walk, the light flakes of snow dotted her hair. I smiled, they complimented her pale features perfectly. "And what are you smiling at eh ?," she asked in a playful tone. I laughed "You if ya must know," I replied stroking her cheek with the brim of my thumb. She gave a fake shocked expression "Is my face really so funny ?!," she exclaimed sarcastically. I laughed harder "Yea, as a matter of fact it is," I stated. She rammed her elbow into my side with noticeable effort, It felt like a punch from a toddler.

I belted out a deep laugh, she pursed her lips in frustration. I rumbled through my list of "moment savors" to whip out and save the day. "You didn't let me finish, It's funny how some ugly b*****d every so often manages to win over a pretty little thing like you," I sighed in my head, marveling for a fraction of a second over how well delivered that was. My favorite shade of pink emerged, followed by my unconditional smile. I could see her house from where we where. The lights where on, we where late, they where expecting us. I turned he to face me gently, with care, as was every action of mine directed towards her. I lay my hand on her cheek, it was warmer, it could have been a selfish act earlier more than a selfless one.

I smiled, the pink in her cheeks flashed a more vibrant shade, only for a moment. I leaned in, she closed her eyes too early, most would find it a flaw... but I loved it.. she was thinking, preparing. I took her off guard purposefully, letting my forehead thud against hers lightly. She laughed, I smiled, we kissed.
