Spontaneous Trouble Of Laughter
Moonlight felt very uncomfortable while walking to this meeting with the so called 'mysterious' vampire. It was not her company that made her feel this way, nor was it the person she was meeting with. What made her so uncomfortable was the gown she was wearing. The events that happened before leaving hom replayed in her mind.
"Are you sure this the only nice piece of clothing I have
clean?" Moonlight sighs, looking towards Dagger.
Dagger nods. "I forgot to do laundry again.." She smiles
nervously at her Master.
Moonlight sighs again, shaking her head.
"Well...You do have that mini club dress you could wear.."
Dagger noted while glancing towards the closet.
Moonlight pauses for a moment.
"Blue gown it is! I would rather not give Mister Vampire a
reason to keep me..."
Moonight sighs deeply as the flashback fades. The color, shape, and the feel of the cloth against her skin did not phase her in the least. It was the fact that Shense had given her this gown in the past and now she was going to meet him in it. Moonlight closes her eyes, sighing for the millionth time. "Lovely.." She breathed sarcasticly.
Garrison looked at Moonlight for the first time since he had picked her up from her house. "Are you sure you're all right? That sighing is getting annoying. Why are you fidgeting with your dress? Too tight or something? I am surprised you can even breathe.." He acknowledged, gazing his eyes over her dress a few times. 'Only a dress and shoes huh? Most are all dolled up when they come to meet him. This girl is so strange..Does-'
Moonlight shrieks, interupting Garrison's thoughts. "Oh my God! Ah!"
Garrison's eyes scanned the area intently. He hadn't sensed anything, but this would not be the first time he had been attacked without sensing the approach. "What is it?" Garrison asked in a low voice, continuing to scan the area with concentrated eyes.
"Ah!" Moonlight shrieks again, running up to a bookstore's window. "The new book of my favorite series is finally out!"
Garrison stared at her with great disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me...All that excitment...Over a book?!" He shakes his head slowly then growls. "You owe me big time for this Shense..Last time I am playing escort for you..."
"He made you play escort?" Moonlight asked, suddenly standing beside Garrison while reading her newly bought book.
Garrison stiffens then turns his head sharply. 'Why didn't I sense her..?' He thought, his eyes full of suspicion as he narrowed them at Moonlight. "Hmm..Are you done acting strange now?" Garrison asked in reply, changing the subject. While shaking his head again, he turned his eyes from her and sighed before closing them.
Catching Danny, a brown haired, brown eyed male she used to care for, from the corner of her eyes, Moonlight grinned. 'Let's have some fun..' her thoughts echoed menicingly. Moonlight slowly dagger her finger tips over her face, thoughts continuing. 'I do not need Garrison showing me to where Shense is...I can sense him from the other side of the galaxy!' Moonlight shouted in her head while closing her fingers over her palm one after the other. The expression upon her pale face shrunk into a hurtful, insulted, and upset illusioned mask. 'I blame you..' Her thoughts spoke to her hear before she spoke out loud. "You...you think I'm strange...?" Moonlight's sadden voice asked in a small tone, nearly dropping the book she now held loosly in her hand before breaking into hard tears. "How could you say something like that?!" She yelled at him while crying.
Garrison turned his face back towards her again quickly. "What the...Hey! No! I didn't mean it like that!" He shouted over the sound of the street. A crowd seemed to be gathering, curious of what could make such a beautiful and kind hearted woman to break down into such furious tears of sadness. "Damn it.." Garrison growled. "What else is going to give me a headache today?"
"Moonlight!" Danny shouted over the busy crowd while running over to her and kneeling by her side. "Are you all right?! What happened?!" He asked frantically, eyeing Garrison from the corner of his eyes while gripping the hilt of his sword.
Growling in response to Danny's reaction, Garrison gripped the hilt of his own sword tightly. "Tch." He turned his head sharply away from Danny. 'Not worth the energy.' His thoughts convinced him. "I didn't do anything mutt."
Danny jumped up quickly. "Mutt! Mutt?!" He asked, shouting angrily. "I am no mutt! Do I look like an animal to you?!" He draws his sword out of its sheath, violently slicing the air as he brings it down by his side.
Garrison's eyes scanned the crowd. "Damn. No opening for escape...Don't want to hurt these people and I REALLY do not want to fight this brat."
"I can hear you you know!" Danny yelled while waving his arms, trying to regather Garrison's attention.
"Good. Then I won't...Where's Moonlight? Garrison asked, looking through the crowd again.
"Oh Puppy!" Moonlight called, standing on a bridge on the other side of Taysin. She giggled, knowing he could not see or hear her. Sitting on the railingof the stone bridge, Moonlight twirled the flowered mirror in her head. The mirror shown brightly, then faded. The image in the mirror showed not a reflection, but showed a crowd of people with two males right in the middle, looking as if they were about to fight. Voices rose from the flowers on the back of the mirror. "Hmm..Be easy on him Danny. We wouldn't want to kill the mighty Shense's friend.." Moonlight snickered then tossed herself back, landing hands on the walkway of the bridge, flipping legs over, landing them on the walkway as well before standing upright. "And..." She added, tossing the mirror into the water beyond the railing of the bridge." Moonlight is too lazy to bring anyone back to life at the moment." Moonlight giggled as she started walking off the bridge. "Now.." Moonlight spoke in a low, soft voice as she reached up to her. 'I am surprised Garrion did not see these..' She thought as she pulled off a drop jeweled earring. "To find Shense." The earring spun in the air, forming itself into a small kitten. Moonlight laid her palm flat out as the kitten landed upon it. She slightly relaxed her fingers as she smiled. "Good.." Moonlight breathed happily then grinned. "Where is he?"
