It is my personal theory that the Zombie incident happened on accident, as a result of a gambino funded project to cure the disease in which his wife, Gino's mother died. He is pushing for this because being that it is Genetic, he is afraid it might become non dormant in Gino.
The unfortunate side effect of part of the drug prototype was the zombies, the Von Helson sisters hired a saboteur to cause the first container of the drug to be knocked over, this is what caused the Zombie issue.

Well, I've gotta slightly contest Ayame's theory... the zombie incident occurred because G Corp created the zombie infection, tested it on Labtech 013, and then apparently didn't dispose of him well enough because he came back and spread the infection. The Von Helsons had nothing to do with it, it happened because G Corp was corrupt, evil, and sloppy.
The idea that Gambino might have started G Corp/taken it in the direction he did to cure the disease that killed his wife, however, makes me sparkle. I like that idea. biggrin

<center>My fellow Gaians, there are many that question whether Mr. Gambino has ever cared for his son, Gino. Let me state now that that has never been, nor ever will be, true. Mr. Gambino has always deeply cared for his son; he has only shown it in an unusual way. Mr. Gambino saw the good within his son, the kind and noble heart that he himself had once possessed. However, in order to be able to one-day support a family, he knew that he had had to become a rather cold and calculating man to gain the money and power he would one day need. However, this was not for his own ego, as some believe. To the contrary, everything he has done was for his only son, Gino. With time, it came to Mr. Gambino?s attention that his son was in danger of ending just like him, and he did not wish for that to ever occur. For that reason, Mr. Gambino distanced himself from Gino. In this way, he forced Gino to spend time with the normal people of Gaia, and, through this, Gino came to have a deeper since of love for the people, exactly what his father had wanted to happen. He did not wish for his son to wind up like him. To the contrary, he wished for Gino to become a hero for the people, to be what Gambino himself once had the potential to become when he himself was young. In time though, Mr. Gambino began to forget this, and the rift grew even deeper between father and son. However, that all changed after the nightmarish events that took place on Halloween night. Mr. Gambino, thinking that he had lost his only son, was completely devastated. Coming to the point of preparing to take his own life, Mr. Gambino was saved upon hearing his son call out to him. However, his happiness was short-lived, soon learning that his son had lost all his memories. Now, Mr. Gambino is ready to do whatever it takes, even forsaking his own revolution in the making, for the sake of his beloved son. Fellow Gaians, how can any of us ever doubt this man?s love for his son? Hear me my friends! Do not allow the words of those people who fear his return to power, such as the Von Helson Sisters, to sway you! They speak their lies out of fear, not out of a wish to speak the truth! Always listen to your heart, and you will know the words they speak are false! Let us support Mr. Gambino and Gino till the very end! Remember these words, and take them to heart! Long live the Gambino name!!

I had a dream, and I figured i'd write it here before I forget it... then might go back to sleep (it's still ungodly o'clock here xd )
People have always wondered why did Gambino Favor Ruby enough to give her a store above all others? (as was mentioned in the 2nd anniversary ball.)
Some believe it's because Gambino is actually Peyo's real dad. rolleyes I don't think so. Well, thanks to this dream I had, I think I may have a new theory about it.
In my dream, Ruby was actually an old flame to Gambino, but the relationship never blossomed and thus they parted ways. They had been childhood friends before, but because of this error, the break up was disasterious and thus their friendship was also at an end.
Gambino then found a new love, got married, had Gino, yadi yadi yadi... Gambino was at the peak of his career.. He had finished the mansion which was in tribute to his wife, established businesses in a once deserted island and was having plans to form his own cooperation.... G-Corp!
But for every Up, there is a down. Suddenly Gambino's wife became ill... and soon afterward so did the very young Gino. Sparing no expense, Gambino hired doctor upon doctor to try to cure this horrible disease that had befallen his family... but it was all in vain. That is, except for Gino, who had youth and a strong immune system to back him up, however this could not be said for mama-gambino.
But rather than having this bring him down, it seemed to have changed Gambino... however some still say it wasn't for the better. He became more "eccentric"... his once charming and melodious laughter had grown boisterous and empty. He focused more on G-corp and research rather than his home life, leaving Gino to the care of servants and hired caregivers.
He continued to expand the isle until there were several new shops that G-corp established... the hat shop and Gambino outfiitters. GO was run by Sasha's father, an old surfer dude who still took more time off to hit the waves then the cash register.
The hat store, believe it or not, was hot property! Everyone wanted a claim to it. Having been placed in the only entrance to the isle, business were practically stepping over each other just to get a shot at it. After all, who wouldn't want to be the first and last store tourists were bound to see?
Despite so many qualified applicants, the final decision was left to Gambino. Sorting out potential business, and out of place ones (a Punk store in a beach setting? Perhaps not.) Suddenly, his eyes glance upon a name that he didn't think he'd ever see for the rest of his life.
Ruby's.
Apparently Ruby had also suffered her share of tragedy as well, and just like Gambino, she too is caring for a son of her own... Finding a kindred spirit, and an old friend he decides to do a final favor of friendship and give the store to Ruby.

Friends, this is indeed a time to rejoice! Through our combined efforts and work, Mr. Gambino has acquired the funds needed to begin rebuilding his life. In fact, on Isle de Gambino, a new structure has arisen. This is the new Gambino Mansion, one that places his old one, and the Von Helson?s Mansion, to shame. This building can be seen anywhere in Gaia. Even the Von Helson Sisters at their mansion in Durem have taken notice of its construction, and have started selling protest signs against our leader. This is only further proof of their jealousy and fear of his return. In truth, the new Gambino Mansion is a symbol of rebirth, a beacon of light to illuminate the darkness that had been sweeping throughout the land, threatening all that we held dear and loved. Even now, that beacon grows stronger with each passing day as Mr. Gambino comes ever closer to his former greatness. Soon my fellow Gaians, the holy light given off by this beacon shall grow so bright as to illuminate the entire land! When this great day comes to pass, the evil that had seemed unstoppable shall halt in its tracks! This powerful light shall confront it, and the darkness known as the Von Helson Sisters shall know fear. They will run, but they will not be able to hide! For the light shall illuminate all the places where they once hid themselves and their evil ways. They shall be shown for the evil that they truly are, and shall be expelled from the land, forever! Hear me and believe the words I speak. The day is quickly approaching! The Von Helsons can do nothing to stop us now, yet they still try to make others think that THEY are the saviors, and that it is Mr. Gambino is the evil one. Let not their words sway you! You know... I may be delious with exhaustion... but I also believe that the similarities between S-corp and G-corp is more than a mere coincidence...
However, I believe its for a different reason than the norm.
You see, it has been said that Gambino is "King of the n00bs" (A fact I must still snerk at.) Still, being King isn't aways as great as Mel-Brooks constantly reitterates. He just wanted a vacation. Being hated by 30% or so of the Gaian population, not to mention that the only reason many people voted for the name "Gambino" was for his son... he felt he needed to lay low in the limelight.
One day, while in cognito (I believe he was simply wearing Emo-glasses) in the Beta Testing of Towns, trying to capture his third Demonfly, when he was approached by a n00b. Happy to see one of his subjects, he greeted him with a hearty "Bwahahahaa"... alas a n00b is still a n00b and instead of dropping to it's knees and worshiping the greatness that is Gambino... er... I mean, Bwahahaha'ing in a return greeting... it just spouted incoherent n00bspeak and asked "where he bought those sideburns?" stare
No... The Current Gaia population was still not ready for his return... but still the itch to get back to his former glory never left him. Gino had done right to reconstruct G-corp... however, G-corp still carried with it a horrible reputation... a reputation tht would be too heavy on his son's shoulders, despite the sudden change in his appearance and self. (Then again, I still personally think that Gino was a faulty AI clone of Gino who just wanted to be loved... but that's another story.) G-corp was Johnny's mistake, and by Ling's pen he would not allow hate and fear of G-corp be associated to Gino.
Sneaking into the Gambino Mansion Kitchen, he knocked the head-cheff out, repressed the urge to laugh, then added one of the secret spices into the food. For Gino's plate, he put a powerful sedative... for Sasha's, a powerful hallucinagen. Within a few moments Gino fell off his chair, dead asleep and Sasha was mumbing incoherently with a bit of asperagus in her mouth. Dragging Gino into a safe place, he then set up one of his high-tech holographic imagry machines to give the appearance that the mansion was on fire. Then Using hidden speakers, he influenced Sasha's memories to see Gino as a strong brave man who seemingly gave his life for her.
While Sasha was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, he activated a protective dome between the 3rd underground layer of the basement and with much regret intentionally burnt his house down (After making sure the insurance company was not located INSIDE the mansion this time.)
Not exactly "lying low in the limelight" like he intended... but it was the Curse of a Gambino to do everything lavishly and with a Bang! Gino would soon learn that and hopefully not in the hard way. Anyway... it was time for the real plan to begin.
One of his experiments in the first G-corp involved the cloning of his his workers (Double the work, double the manpower, but technically he'll be paying for half of them!) Alas it had been deemed a failure since the clones that had survived were half the capacity (litterally) of their orignals. Browsing through the marketplace, he bought them spirited and elf sets... called in a few favors from Agatha to dress up as Mrs. Claus for the holiday and sent out a huge mecha with his own clone to distract the n00bs.
And to finalize the plan.. changes the G to an S to confuse the n00bish masses.

It's during the second anniversary, just in the end where Gambino's being chased by security. He needs a place to hide Gino, but he can't trust the other NPC's since he's heard they've been talking bad about him. (He doesn't even think he can trust Edmund that well either )
He doesn't want Gino to get hurt so he leaves Gino behind a pillar while he tries to distract the guards.
Enter the Von Sisters.
They take Gino to another room (don't think pervy thoughs scream ). The thing is, they know about Gino and who he was: Gino was just like them. A child of a rich parent with a hurtful past. Only the difference is, Gino has the luxury of not knowing his past, while the Vons are still trying their darnest to forget.
Here I see Marie (Red) to be the nicer of the two, she's gushing over how cute Gino is. Anne (white) is more serious and cold and more determined to make Gino "see their way".
They try to convince Gino to stay with them. They fear that Gambino is only being nice just to keep up with appearances. (heck, it was something their parents would do) but once eyes were turned, he'd be back to hurting him... and they didn't want that.
But Gino refuses... he says that since he was "reunited" Gambino has been nothing but a loving father to him and something inside him makes him want to believe that fully... it makes it very happy like a "wish come true" kind of thing. This has the Vons upset and furious, but nothing will change Gino's mind.
They decide to try to prove to Gino once and for all that Gambino is not a "worthy parent" so they drag him out and the end-game begins. They insult Gambino and put him down in front of Gino to make him study his reaction. Then they put the ultimatum. They had believed that Gambino would chose the revolution more than his Son.
However... they were surprised at the outcome. They hide their shock with anger and with a bit of jealousy. Their father would have chosen the revolution in a second. It wasn't fair.
