Hey guys!, like promised, I'm here to review the new Transformers movie!
I won't be putting spoilers in white text, so if you don't want to be spoiled, AVERT YOUR EYES! CLICK BACK!!!
Okay, first, I must say, Transformers: RotF was my first IMAX movie. I should've showed up at 11, just to be sure to get some good seats, but hell, my bro decideds to leave at the last minute cuz we only live a couple miles away from the theater. So I got there at 11:50-ish. Just enough time to get in and get my ticket and take a couple quick pix of the Transformers displays. I don't have the pix online, mostly cuz they're on my phone, and I have no way of moving them over to a computer (I think). The theater was nice, in and of itself. VERY BIG. Anyways... When I got into the theater, it was pretty much packed and full. I tried finding a good seat in the middle, but everyone was advised to move to the middle of the row, rather than sitting on the outsides. So I got a seat that was about 6th row from the front and on the far left side, aisle seat. stare The security/workers/whatever they are were down at the bottom and right before the movie started, they tried to get us pumped up. We all yelled that we wanted the movie when she encouraged us to. So they started it up. The beginning was shocking. It wasn't even the beginning of the movie, it was a intro thing for IMAX. I actually felt like I was gonna get hit by the stars or whatever they were. Then the movie started~~~
It started out with Optimus doing a narrative prologue with the video being cavemen or sumthin in 17000 BC. The cave men are hunting a tiger thing, then the fallen shows up and pretty much wipes them out... Then it goes to modern day and the army + autobots are teamed up and trying to hunt down a decepticon (Scavenger, the big one that is shown at the end of the first superbowl ad). They spend forever sneaking up on it, then the battle begins. Scavenger transforms all cool-like, then rolls off and heads for the city all badass-like. Autobots give chase and eventually Optimus takes him down cry . I liked him too... Then it pretty much goes to Sam getting ready for college, tons of funny stuff happens. Like a shard left from the cube gives life to all of the kitchen appliances and a vaccuum (I laughed at the vaccuum, I mean a vaccuum decepticon? rofl )
Then, later on, it goes to Sam at college and he starts going crazy seeing all the robot language and stuff. A girl at the college starts to hit on Sam like crazy. Turns out the girl is a decepticon (something I suspected about the 2nd time I saw her). Hopefully, that freaky chick gives guys nightmares about what a hot chick really is... rofl
I don't want to get too into telling EVERYTHING that happened... You guys should just go and see it!
BTW, when it got to the scene where Sam and crew goes to the Air & Space museum, everyone in the audience cheered rofl Very fun! Well, hopefully when I see it in Florida, I'll have better seats. Its somewhat challenging watching a movie at an angle. neutral
OVERALL, I give Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen a 9.5/10.
