-5 years later: Age 12-

In the morning at school, everyone was talking about the arrival of a new boy. As usual, Mizuki was alone. She didn't really say much. Neither did Shinobu. The boy came in and introduced himself. He was quite tall, clean dark short brown hair. He was lean as well. "Konnichiwa*! I am Koyama Akito**. Please treat me well." He said. His hazel eyes roamed the room and landed on Mizuki. Shinobu noticed this and didn't know what was going on. Sensei* told Akito to sit in the empty seat by Aichi. Mizuki raised her hand to let him know who Aichi was. He went towards her and sat at his new desk. Every once in a while, he'd turn to glance at Mizuki with a tiny smile on his face. Shinobu didn't like this at all...

AT LUNCH

Mizuki was sitting alone as usual until she was joined by Akito. "Mind if I have lunch with you?" He asked. Mizuki shook her head, "No, have a seat." She welcomed him. Shinobu was on the otherside, alone. He, of course, was watching Mizuki in secret while eating his own food.
At first, Mizuki and Akito were just eating quietly. Soon they were done, so Akito decided to speak up. "So uhh.. I don't believe I got your name..?" He said, not even knowing where to start.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Aichi Mizuki." Mizuki said, cleaning her area little by little. Akito grinned. "That's a nice name." He commented. He then turned his head, feeling like someone was glaring at him. Sure enough, he saw Shinobu glancing at him or Mizuki. "Say.." He said, turning his attention back to Mizuki, "Do you ever notice someone staring at you?" He asked.
Mizuki looked at Akito and turned to see Shinobu eating alone. "Oh, you mean Tsukiyomi***-kun?" She asked, "I sometimes see him looking at me, but I don't talk to him." She said, "He's kinda... weird."
Akito nodded to himself. "I see."

*Konnichiwa - hello
**Koyama Akito - It is a Japan custom where one would introduce themselves with their last name first.
