The Conduit: Multiplayer
Let me first start by saying, I played around 30 matches, and encountered not one second of Frame Rate drop or Lag. It is easy to get other players for the match, and takes very little time. I can't say much about team based modes, since I only played Free For All, but the varied Free For All modes were terrific.
____________________________________________________________________
Quick Match: An eight minute match in which all players try to score the most kills. If any one player reaches 25 kills, the match is instantly over, and they win. The Respawn time is about three seconds.

Marathon: A 20 minute match in which all players try to score the most kills. Unlike Quick Match, there is no score limit. Depending on how fast you die after spawning, Respawn time is between 10-20 seconds.

Three Strikes: A five minute match in which all players have two Respawns. If you die three times, you lose the match. This mode puts an emphasis on strategy, instead of just running and gunning. Respawn time is three seconds.

Last Man Standing: A ten minute match in which all players have nine Respawns. If you die ten times, you lose the match. This mode also uses heavy strategy. Respawn time is five seconds.

*Note* - For both Three Strikes and Last Man Standing, if time runs out, with more than one player alive, regardless of lives, the person with the most kills out of those with one live or more, wins the match.

ASE Football: This match is ten minutes. During those ten minutes, the player is tasked with finding the ASE (All Seeing Eye) somewhere on the map. Whoever holds it gets a steady supply of points. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. During this mode, a gray box outline will show the general direction of the ASE, and how far away it is from you. Also, while you can't shoot while holding it, you can still melee attack, so use that to your advantage. Respawn time is ten seconds.

Bounty Hunter: This is a ten minute match. Each player is assigned one target. When that target is killed, another target is assigned. You always have to watch your back, because you will also be a target for someone else at all times. The gray box appears in this mode too. The scoring system is as follows:

Target: 1 point for first kill, 2 points for all kills after until you die.
Innocent: -1 one point for any kill.
Hunter: 2 points for any kill.

It should also be noted that the person who reaches 30 points wins the match, otherwise, whoever has the most points when time runs out wins.

The graphics are amazing for all the weapons and and maps, which is a plus when their is no Lag. Although there are only seven maps, they are very large, and have plenty of room to hide from the other 11 players, and have a lot of cover.

There are four skins to choose from, and a fifth with a promotional code with the special addition. There was also a rumor from the game's creator's that other skins are unlockable, but that hasn't been confirmed. Each skin has a customizable Primary and Secondary color, for some character customization. The skins are:

Trust Agent
Scientist
Guard
Drudge Drone
Suit (Also known as special agent)

XP System: Their are 24 Ranks you can achieve in multiplayer. To rank up (which become increasingly harder to do after each level up.) you must kill opponents for XP. Each kill you get is worth a fixed amount per mode, but killing multiply people without dying nets you more XP at the end of a match. The multiplier appears on screen when you reach that amount, so you know you have got it. 3 kills is a "Killing Spree" which makes the multiplier appear, giving you 150% XP. Each kill after that without dying gets you 50% more. At 5 kills, or 250% XP, you get a "Massacre."

And now for minor problems I have seen:
1: If someone doesn't have a good connection, they can sometimes teleport when moving, which is seen by other people but not the one doing it, as well as the player lagging bad enough to not be able to move.

If you have a good connection, the lag from other people won't effect you at all, which is a good thing.

2: Players can enter halfway through games in progress, which is pointless since they will be far behind in kills or points. This hasn't happened to me yet though.

The good thing is that they won't appear mid match in ASE Football, or either of the elimination modes.

3: You can only make sure 100% that a friend on your friend list by making a friends only match. You cannot invite them to play against random people. And yes, you need friend codes, but this is offset by the fact that you can have 32 people in your friend list.

All in all, if you are a fan of first person shooters, and don't like the other shooters available for the Wii, you won't find a better game for multiplayer than The Conduit.

10/10
