So Very Lucky
Something interesting happened today (6-2-09)

I was taking my 1st period final exam and I felt real confident about my answers. For me I didn't care if I had a few wrongs, so long as I get a 92% or higher. So after the exam, my teach told us we can pick up our graded essays which we turned in a week before. I looked at mine and it read:

Excellent Job! A

Never turned in to turnitin.com

I was shocked and confused. I never even heard of turnitin.com! So I went up there and talked to my teach:

Tj: Miss... I've never heard of this website in my life!
Teacher: Well I kept saying it over and over in class...you were so supposed to get a zero
Tj:Wha?!...I mean...wha...
Teacher: You wanna argue your gonna get a zero, I was always mentioning it in class...
Friend: Dude just take it and walk away man, thats all you can do.

So I went into my desk way in the corner and I was swearing to myself. I felt I was so close, and I wondered what I could have done to change this. But while I was covering myself in self-pity over my B essay, my teacher called out to me:

Teacher: Teeeee jaaay Cheer up!!!!

I was like what? So I stood up and starred at her from across the room. She was looking down at my paper:

Teacher: Tee Jaaay! You got a 100%!

Everyone screamed and clapped and whooed! And I smiled and looked down at my victory. My feelings of self-pity diminishing. I looked back at my B and forgot all about it. This was the final exam! 100%! So I went up to my teach, the feeling of resentment and hate for her all gone:

Tj: So how far does this bring my grade up?
Teach: Well TJ, remember what you had?
Tj:.....oh uh you mean a 89.4%?
Teach: Yes...with that score AND your essay, you got a 91.4% overall for this class
Tj: Huh...HUh what?! Really?
Teach: Yup, I could tell you really studied hard, that was amazing...
Tj: Really? er....yeah......
Teach: I'm guessing you forgive me now right?
Tj: Er uh, yeah ...I guess ^_-? (How did she bloody know I hated her?!)
Teach: Im serious Tj that was amazing, this has never happened for six years
Tj: !!! REally?!
Teach: Yup absolutely keep it up smarty
Tj: Does this mean you won't forget me?
Teach: No way TJ, good job

I went back to my desk with a smile and another victory. Everyone went up to me and started talking and complimenting me about my brain and how crazy I was. They even thought I studied all night. In truth I just sat on my bed and had my brother test me for thirty minutes. Did I also mention this exam was 200 questions Long?
