Sick of All the Tears

When i say that I'm fine its a lie,
So just look me in the eye,

Have you ever lived my life, spent one minute in my shoes, if you havnt then tell me why, you judge me as you do? ?ave you ever woken up in the morning, wondering if this was your last day on earth, have you ever left your house, unsure if youd return, have you ever seen your friend get shot, outside his favorite store, have you ever seen a friend die from drugs he'd never used before, have you ever sat beneath the stars hoping god will hear,have you ever seen your friend drive away after way to many beers, have you ever had a friend expeirement with weed, have you ever covered up guilt by doing a good deed,have you ever considerd suicide as the only way, have you ever tried to hide yourself behind the things you say, have you ever wanted to protect your friends and everyone in sight, have you ever felt such pain that you cried yourself to sleep that night, have you ever lived my life spent one minute in my shoes, if you havnt tell me why you judge me as you do?

Years ago, I had to leave.
The day I was told this,
I locked myself up and screamed.



What was going through my mind?
I had to decide
If I should reveal the emotions inside
Or keep them to hide



The next day, I took the dare
I found him, the person who cared,
I thought we'd make the perfect pair.



He smiles as I come to him.
After the words are spoken,
His face became grim.
I never thought I'd be heart broken.



I was left to silently watch him fade.
Ignoring the existence of me,
He never knew all the torment he gave.



And so my land of fair maidens
And prince charmings began to slip,
Just like the tears
That fell down my lip



As the years passed by,
I realize this pain was only the first,
But the wound you gave was always the worst.



If only you could see,
How much you've darkened me.
Would you turn around and flee?
I fear of what you'd think of me.



Now I walk down the street for a simple chore,
Unaware my answer will arrive as I get into the store



You're not sure if this is the

Who watched you, the player
Go through each fling



I finally confess,
This only brings you stress.



I can't understand,
How you can hate me,
When years ago,
You always stared at me.

And then turn away from me.



I ask you all this,
As a woman comes up to you
And gives you a kiss



My gaze drops to her fingers,
I find a ring
I gaze at your fingers
My heart begins to sting.



And once again, I was left to silently watch you fade.
