I've been very content with Gaia for a while. This is good in some ways since I have nothing to rant about, but at the same time it's bad because I have to neglect something I take great delight in. Though finally through it all something comes out that I get to rant about. Oh happy day!
New Gaia layout, some people approve of it some wish it was back to what it was. For one thing whining will not get you anywhere. Do you think posting a little 'I don’t like' will magically tear down the sites coding and bring back what was once there. I'm sorry dreamers it doesn't work that. For one thing Gaia didn't always look like it's old layout and I must admit when the last layout came I wasn' to jolly about it. I did give a little guff and I excepted it...I did not bring it to the Q&A the only thing I said was back and forth to a friend.
Some might not like the way the links aren' working the same. I was online almost all times they have edited the site and it was kind of weird. After time though the admins close up all loose ends and the final product looks rather nice.
Some Gaia workers have been on this project for months going through many different running ideas until one held strong. Also I would like to remind you that this layout is for you, yes you, you Gaians you. People wanted the pages to upload faster, in this new layout dreams will become reality as Gaia has more space to not only work, but add to it's ever growing features.
Please be content on what you have. Don’t throw away the idea that everything that is being done to Gaia is for you or will be for you in the new future. Isn't that amazing? That a group of people want you have such a good time they spend all day making this world a better place for you to enjoy. No where in the world has that kind of commitment. It's sad to see people take it so light heartedly.
If you like the new layout, gee gots I agree! It's so wonderful, the color layout is less fluffy and it keeps to the core facts. Less images and it emits a general feeling of professionalism that gaia took away from in it's last layout update. I hope the admins are proud of what came out of there hard work. I'm happy it's up before the Christmas event goes underway.
