I have been on the prowl for a better job. That or another part time job to help pay off those loans from school. Interviews and applications galore.. although I must admit I have slowed down with my search since last year. I really went overboard last summer, and I cant help but feel a bit of disbelief that I will find one. I can imagine giving a blank stare if someone told me "welcome aboard" as if it were some joke before saying get out of my office.
I keep searching. I may take up a friend's advice for this one job in a not so desirable location.. But it's a job, and it isn't far from where I taught martial arts for years.. so if anything, it's the same shady route I used to take, but a bit further under the bridge, behind the factories in an alleyway... yeah.. Doesn't sound very appealing, but the place itself isn't that bad.
I will think about it. I just hope the other job I have been having interviews for goes through (coffee shop). At least they have health benefits, and are located in a tourist area, meaning tips are plentiful. We will see. I have faith that wherever I am meant to be is the road I will take. I can't dwell on every job that hasn't contacted me.
