Creative Vomit
The Rantings, Plots, Descriptions, Characters, Locations and stories that are bubbling in my head.
It’s said that each Race tells the Story of the Cycles war in a different manner. The villains are switched, the victims are switched, and the heroes are switch. I will tell you the Story through the only way I was told. The View point of the Clouds…

The Goddess, now gone, left her domain the world, in the hands of her three creations. The Clouds, The Oceans, and The Hommes. The Hawk Cycle was set, and the transfer of Souls was already on its way. Souls would be found on the ground in plants, trees, animals, and rocks and mineral. The Souls would then transfer into the sky, where they would become Cirrus water, material that was made out of the smallest pieces of ice. Then the Souls would be transfer by method of precipitation into the bodies of water, where the Oceans would watch over them and direct them back to the Ground.

The Amount of Souls in one province was extremely important. Souls had a tendency to make Provinces thrive and grow. On top of that, Souls gave energy to the people of the Provinces by way of Mist, a type of manna or aura some might say. Mist allowed the Beings of the Provinces to unlock extraordinary tools, skills, and methods in aiding in there ward.

When the Guidelines for the cycle where proposed, many things where argued. One of these things was the amount of Souls that each Province was to have when the cycle was in process. It was decided that the largest amount of Souls at anytime would be in the Sky, due to the fact that they had the easiest movement, and had the Right of Night with them. The Province of the ground strongly disagreed. They believed that they should have the largest amount of Souls in their care.

“Wasn’t it not the sky that was late to report the infiltration of the Star?” The leaders of the Hommes inquired. “And wasn’t it the Hommes who where blown away by the Invader like dust?” The Clouds rebutted in a mocking tone; arguments from than started to become less civil, and more personal. The Oceans stayed neutral in the midst of it all. Because of the Souls attraction to water, its mist output was undeniably the best when it was in the care of the Oceans. The Goddess’s word was final though, and the three groups went off to their task. However, tension between the Ground, and the Sky grew.

The Event was side to be an accident by the Clouds, but the Hommes would never believe it. Discovering the extent of the Moons power, The Clouds discovered and created many knew things. One of these things was the conversion of the Stars light, into a force of great energy. This energy was originally name Light-Neg, but through slips of tongues was informally know as Lighting. Testing the Energy out and its uses, the Clouds shot it into the void above the sky. Through it was apparent that the Lighting was powerful, recording its power was impossible due to the fact that it went past the Clouds boundaries. Going to the Oceans for assistance, the Clouds asked if they could possibly fire the Lighting into one of their waters to see how far it would go. It was only reasonable to use the waters and there endless depths. The Oceans more then willingly agreed due to curiosity, and organized the test with the Clouds.

An area was to be cleared so no one would be hurt, and researchers from the Sky, and Waters would be watching. However, something went drastically wrong. When the Lighting was released, instead of hitting the cleared designated spot, it curved and hit the Ground, causing the death of a clan of Hommes. Furious, the Hommes took the lighting as a declaration what the Sky thought of them. The Hommes already believed that the Clouds thought that they where above everyone else in importance and class. Enraged by this, the Hommes Clans got together and bended and erected the rocks to create the first Province Road. The Mountain. Scaling their own creation, the Hommes invaded the Sky, and took back with them, a large amount of Cirrus.

Feeling unsafe and humiliated by the invasion, The Clouds proposed an ultimatum to the Hommes. Destroy the Mountain and give back the souls, or they would release more lighting aimed towards the ground. In an act of defiance, the Hommes erected and built more mountains all over their Province. Following the Hommes lead, The Oceans themselves made the last two Province roads. The Shores, and the Horizons. At first the two other groups believed this to be the Oceans declaration of participating in the conflict; but on the contrary, the Oceans felt that this was a step in progress and possible peace.

They were wrong.

Casting down lighting bolt after lighting bolt, the Sky became a fierce force of power. However the Hommes where not easily beaten. Penetrating the boundary of the sky many times, the Hommes cause major damage. Through all the three groups had similar humanoid shapes and bodies, physical strength greatly differed from each group. Clouds where created so that they could be able to maintain there position in the sky without falling, so mass wise, most of them were under Twenty two Kilograms ( 50 poundsish?) Compared to the Hommes, who had muscle, strength and weight limits of five hundred pounds, the Clouds had no chance.

The man who has the high ground in battle is most likely to win. This was true in this conflict. After countless bloody battles, the Clouds came out to be victorious, causing the Hommes numbers to dwindle to about two hundreds.

The Hommes would never fully recover.
