this world that we live in...
is like a maze. confusing, Turing us every which way.
reaching dead ends that we assume we can just climb over.
every mistake leading the opposite way. we wander aimlessly
searching for things that are either gone or don't wish to be found.
we scream its name at the top of are lungs... we scream ... and scream, until our lungs finally give out. then we start to cry.
our voices nothing but quiet whimpers for compassion. pleading in the dark maze for the strength to find our way. to give us a second chance at the starting line.
but to redeem our mistakes we must suffer their consequences.
so no glorious hand comes to lead our way to the right path. we must find our own way. our own glimmer of light in the sea of darkness.
an eventually we do. but just when we reach the finish line. our bodies give out. we begin to die, with all the rest. and as your mind begins to slip away into a much more happier place. you finally find what you've been looking for. but this time it calls your name. with out hesitation you welcome it.....and it takes you away into its safe harbor.
