She wakes up. The simple task of consciousness reawakining itself, into awareness of the external senses. She opens her eyes. A movement often followed by blinking, giving the eyes time to adjust to color and brightness or certain surroundings.
Home is behind, the world ahead. And there are many paths to tread. Through shadow, to the edge of night. Until the stars are all alight. Mist and shadow, cloud and shade. All shall fade. All shall fade.
Iv'e only ever had one chance to keep someone alive. But the next person is dying. It wasn't even me, they saved themselves. Still it's my job to care. If they say not to, yes that means you have to. It means they don't want to be hurt, and that hurts.
"STOP!"
"I mean it I'm done."
"No, no just stop I can't listen to you."
"Theres no stopping it. It's more alive than even you."
"I'll shoot."

The wolf sounds and it means... yes dear one, a free spirit deserves to run to the rebounding call. I won't, I won't cage this...

I really like the first one. It takes something that is everyday and focuses on it in such a way that you are drawn to the movements she is making. I wonder what color her eyes are.
The second one sounds kind of like a poem, or perhaps a prophecy for a fantasy of some sort. The "All shall fade" makes me think of Lord of the Rings. I know what it is, it sounds like the insert on a book, reading a character's thoughts.
I don't really have much to say on the third and fourth ones because they just don't draw me as much as the other two did.
I hope you don't mind that I took the entry title seriously. If you did want help, I hope you find this beneficial.
