You know, 2005 wasn't that bad of a year at all...

On the small scale.

"On the small scale", which is my slice of life, it wasn't too horribly horrible.

I went up north for the first time ever, saw snow that was taller than me (which is a real trip), loved two strangers and enjoyed every minute of it.
I attacked and won against my fears of flying and my fear of dogs.
I got my driver's licence.
I met a lot of people.
I got laid a couple of times.
I fondled dozens of people, a wall or two and a McDonalds Ronald statue.
I went to my first adult toy store, strip club, and turned away from a couple of liqour stores.
I've gotten lost in 12 different cities, met total strangers and planned the first GD meet up (and (sorta) the second and third).
I got hit on by a stranger that I had no previous encounters with who was trying to sell me something.
I got hit on by 27 different creepy old men, creepy truckers and creepy old truckers.
I donated money to a non-planetary, disaster fund for the first time.

There's a couple of downsides to this past year, like my first speeding ticket.
I put over seventy thousand miles on my car, since April.
I took a chance and got crushed.
I spent my first holiday weekend completely drunk out of my mind.
I got into a car accident, had dozens of near death experiences...

It's been an okay year, I 'spose. Other than the getting drunk and the not getting drunk and the loving things and the getting smooshed by love things...

Bah.

And the end of the year travels weren't a waste. I just sorta wanted to hang out and do more with the Skippy. ._.
