Hello, my name is Derek Walter Fyrhie. I am 20 years old and a student at NYU. I live in an apartment in Manhattan, rather than staying at a dorm because I don't feel comfortable in that environment. neutral

I would like to note that I am a character created by deviantArt user SpoinkChick93, and this profile is only in use to represent my character.


I have two friends that also have accounts here: May Kirwell and Will Meyer. They are also characters. Will has been my best friend for two years, and she is really competitive with me (I don't know why). I knew May for 10 months before she mysteriously disappeared. I haven't (technically) seen her since.

My mother is half Chinese, half Filipino, and from San Fransisco. My dad is caucasian from New South Wales, Australia, near Canberra. My parents met at Sydney University, and my dad eventually became an executive of Australia's equivalent of the EPA. My mom moved back to California to raise me there (because my dad was busy and she didn't have many friends in Australia at the time, they stayed married), and I have dual citizenship. Biologically, I'm an only child, but after I went off to college and my mom moved back to Canberra permanently, my parents adopted the daughter of a friend going through rough times. My (adopted) sister's name is Matilda Paige Fyrhie.

Um... I don't know what else to say about myself. No, I don't have an Australian accent, but sometimes one comes out when I'm visiting or using the slang.
