My heart
Is shattered into pieces
Why?
Because you made it happen.

I gave my life for you
You took away my innocence
But now you throw away our beautiful gift
That gift sent from above

Love is such a silly thing
You think you need it to survive
But, not all people love
And yet, they survive

I was going to be your wife
Treat you like the God that you are
But, you threw it all away
Almost two years

I still love you
But you're controlling
I can't be with someone controlling
But you said you wanted to change as a couple

Why then did you just say
Would I be happy if we were together and you wouldn't change?
Well, that was a test you said
That test just threw me away

I am single now
And no, I don't ask for sympathy
I am just sharing with you all my feelings
Isn't that poetry?
