Childhood
Higure was born into a poor family, living on very little money and even less resources. The slums were his home, living from broken apartment to broken apartment, each time getting booted for not being able to pay the rent. From a young age, Higure was very active. The slums were his playground and he knew them like the back of his head. Growing up on the streets forced him to learn how to fight, even before the age of ten. He had always be forced to defend his parents when gang members and thugs busted in on them, demanding money. Therefor, from a very early age, Higure was physically strengthened to perfection.
One day, while trying to come up with an excuse for not having the rent, Higure's mother was attacked by their landlord. He slashed her stomach open with a kunai and kicked her to the floor, leaving her to bleed. Higure's father leaped at the landlord and gave him a tough punch in the face, but the landlord, being a trained shinobi, lunged the same kunai used against his mother into his father's chest. He then threw Higure's father to the ground and began to rampage through the house, looking for any sign of money. Frantic and in shock, Higure reacted without thinking, pulling the threads from his shirt. Without trying, he forced his chakra through the threads and swept them through the landlord's body, cutting him to bits. He then blacked out.
When he awoke in the hospital the entire event was a blank to him, save for his parent's deaths. From that moment on he vowed to be the best person he could possibly be. That same day he entered the ninja academy of Amegakure and hasn't looked back since.

Higure's personal technique that he perfected as a child. By running his Earth elemental chakra through his special razor threads he will strengthen their durability to an unbelievable level. The threads can become strong enough to block and cut through weapons of a regular build such as normal kunai, shuriken, and katana. It is this technique alone that gave him his famous nickname.

After initiating Naiyasato, Higure will start combat without releasing the threads from around his arms. As the battle progresses he will slowly unreal the threads, hanging them from available places, burrowing them beneath the ground, and hiding them. Due to their reflective nature, the threads would easily blend into their surroundings, making it difficult for anyone to see anyway. Most times, before the opponent can even react, they would tear themselves to pieces on the web of threads, leaving their blood to trace them. Thus the name, Web of Blood.

Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.
