My schedule for work is:
Monday - 5-11PM
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - Off
Thursday - 5-11PM
Friday - Off
Saturday - 6-11:30PM
Sunday - 11-4PM
I went to my boss as was like "why do I have to close all the time?" His response, "you're one of the older ones, the highschool students cannot work past 10".
So I was thinking, "there are plenty of people over 18 that work here, and DON'T have to go to college, so why don't they close?" Y'see I go to school as well, and I am not going to let work mess up my grades this semester. I have to get up around 6:30-7:00AM Monday through Thursday just to get to class around 9:30-10:00AM. My friend Jenifer basically has the same class schedule as I do, but she gets the picture perfect schedule at work, plus demo-work. She gets better hours, plus more hours than I do a week. She doesn't work past 10, I get to work past 11:30, three of the four days in which I am scheduled to work. AND I STILL GET LESS HOURS THAN HER.
I'm not going to quit my job, I need this job. I just want hours in which I can actually go home and EAT DINNER with my family, hell I want to SEE them. My day usually consists of waking up at 6:30, take shower, get dressed, leave for school. Then its wait for bus, take bus, get to school and try to do some homework before class. Then go to class, get out, finish homework and study a bit before running to the bus stop to get home. Rarely I get time to actually sit down and eat lunch at home before its off to work till 11. I rarely eat dinner with my family, let alone spend any time with them except for "I'm leaving for school or, I'm going to work." I never see my dad anymore, and that makes me sad.
I don't even have the time to get driving lessons from my dad, or even from a school. My life is nothing but work, and school, when the rest of the employees at my work get nice schedules.
So I have decided on two things.
I'm going to talk to Jen, and see if she is willing to split the load with me. She has seen how bad I've been as of late. If we can split the load, I can handle this better. As for the second thing, I need to talk to Melissa. I hope she gets the job, then maybe we can all work together and try to make things easier.
I hate that man.
I am through with being treated by s**t by him, and the rest of my co-workers, its bullshit and I don't deserve it anymore.
