you sit there in your black hole
your words falling on deaf ears
the ugly faces pressed
up against that pane of glass
they point and laugh at you
sitting there with tear filled eyes
you stare forward looking
through their
shallow pools they call life
searching for a pool deep enough
to submerse yourself in
looking for the person with
the key to break
your glass cage open
and let the
sweet sunshine
into your life.
