The Mind
Mainly a record of my more interesting dreams that I was able to remember after waking up. (Apparently my uncontrollable confessions, as well. In the form of poetry. All to the same man.)

Most amazing dream I've had yet.

The beginning started off with me at church with a bunch of people, and we had pumpkin pie and hot cider cause it was really cold out. Then I was at school hanging out with people at school and since it was really cold I decided to stay until after school. Because it was so cold the buses were running late because the roads were icy. I eventually started going home, and it had started snowing. I was walking with my friend and there were a bunch of people behind us, because one of the buses never made it. At one point I turned around and was walking backwards. My friend told me not to do that because it was scaring him, what with the ice on the sidewalks. Then he pointed at something behind me, freaked out and said that it was an ice storm. I glanced over my shoulder and saw a serious cloud of white out snow on its way, coming quickly, too. So I turned back around and when it hit me, I just leaned back and let the wind support me, knowing that I was probably going to fall when it was done. But for some reason, as the snow was pelting me I felt so amazingly peaceful and full of joy. I didn't feel cold at all, but more like as my heart was racing I felt like it was the dead of summer, and that the snow was gently caressing me, not pelting me with small bits of ice. It was like there was fire encased in the ice, warming my whole body as it hit me. It let up for a few seconds and I gained balance, and then it shot some more ice. I leaned back again and just let the amazing sensation take over. This happened a few more times, and each time I was so far lost in my own world that I didn't even feel like my feet were touching the ground. The last time the wind let up before it started again, my friend found my hand and held it tightly, shocking me somewhat back to reality. He found my other hand and gripped it tightly, too. Then I just relaxed my whole body except my hands and let the ice blow past. It was such an amazing feeling that I didn't want it to end for all eternity. It felt like happiness was literally surging through my veins and that if it continued my body would burst, but I didn't mind. (I wonder if Heaven feels that way?) Then the ice storm passed and there was just a little bit of snow again, and it was very dark out. I was in a slight daze for a few minutes even though I functioned just fine. And then there was the thunder. The snow was backed by a thunderstorm. A BIG thunderstorm. Of course, my friend freaked out and ran the rest of his way home, while I felt a surge of adrenaline. I told my friend not to run on the ice, but he kept going. While he was running I tried yelling that I loved that day so much because it was just so literally awesome. Then there was a giant lighting bolt above Pasco that looked like it touched ground and an old friend caught up with me and told me I should be getting home since I was nearly there anyway. Next thing I knew I was alone on the side walk and it was even darker, and there was no ice or snow anymore. The darkness kinda gave me the haunted goosebumps, so I hurried home, and saw another big bolt of lightening. In the middle of the road leading to my neighborhood, I saw a sign, and for time it displayed 11:11. I knew that couldn't be right and kept going. By the time I reached our front yard there was a patch of sunlight shining through the clouds, and by the angle of the rays I knew it wasn't more than 3:30 in the afternoon. It wasn't so dark anymore, either. And the rays of sunlight were shining on the flower garden in our front yard. A lily was illuminated, accented by a shining puddle. When I got to the front door I found a little name-tag thing that looked like it was from msn placed perfectly in the branches of the tree growing next to the porch. The name on it was Vincent. I took it, wondering how it got there, and went inside. As I opened my bedroom door I saw my computer on with a romantic like picture on the screen and my music playing. I immediately recognized the song, consciously, too. But when I woke up, I forgot which song it was.
And that was the end of my most amazing dream yet.
