So today has been pretty eventless, but good. I am still excited I get to see my bf in a little less than tow months and I only have to wait 21 more days until I get to home for Thanksgiving break. I can't wait for this semester to be over, it has been very hectic, but fun. Today I got a package from my mom and it had a lot of candy in it. I love getting things in the mail, it makes being here (away from my family) a little easier. She also sent me my pointe shoes!! It has been a couple years since I have danced on pointe, but my choreographer for the contemporary dance I am in wanted a few girls to be ballerinas and dance on pointe for the beginning of the dance. I am so excited, I love dancing on pointe and she said it would just be basic things, so I think I will do great. She wants us to act like we are porcelien (spelling stressed ) dolls and so I am going to be a ballerina doll. She is going to make us tutus and I am going to put a bow in my hair and wera leg warmers. I can't wait for dance recital it is going to be so much fun and look great!!
I am in 4 dances this semester and pretty much love them all. I doing to ballets, a contemporary, and a salsa. We only have 3 weeks until hell week! Hell week is where we run through the show every night from 8-midnight. Last year hell week was the week before finals, but this year it is a couple weeks before finals. This year we are raising money for a local orgnization that helps families in need of food and clothing. Last semester we donated all the money we raised from ticket sales to breast cancer research. I love being in dance troupe and it helps me relieve stress and have fun!
Well I need to work on a project for my online class, I should probably stop procrasinating!! lol
