A Beautiful Mutation rp starter
A Beautiful Mutation.

In recent years the human genome has grown to its full potential leaving no room for improvement as modern science focused more on how humans live rather than their improvements. But as time advanced so did our technology, and the spark of true scientific discovery was triggered once again. Scientist began to study how they could go about cracking the genome and amplifying it for their own personal use. They ran closed tests on many subjects eventually finding the right code to access our genetic makeup. But such a discovery came with a consequence that no one foresaw as the genetic projects developed odd powers some mutating into monsters with amazing abilities. The code was taken by the bitter test subjects and released into the worlds oxygen supply. The conversion of the chemical changed its properties, and as such no other humans was affected in the same manner as the test subjects. Humanity thought they were free from the mutant vice that was until the first mutant child appeared. She was a teenager who had the ability of pyrokinesis, and though she wasn't as violent and bitter as the first mutants she was taken into custody and imprisoned on false charges. As more and more mutant cases began popping up all over the world the humans felt that their hold on humanity was slipping away. Mutants went into hiding a few rebels rising up to prove that all of humanity could live together, and after years of fighting they became successful. But not all mutants shared their views, and the seed of evil soon bloomed as mutants began committing unspeakable acts of evil. A asylum was built to hold those deemed evil, but soon humans began to accuse all mutants of being evil and the asylum soon filled with new prisoners.

War broke out against the humans and a new neighboring race of alien like humanoids. The human generals offered a new plan to the mutants giving them freedom for blood. With a new army the war soon came to a stand still with no side making advances. A human general suggested making a specialized team of mutants that could breech the enemy lines and bring back valuable intel. He called this team Xenotype, and all of its members consisted of the most dangerous of all mutant criminals. He had a telepathic man to gather info from the enemies minds codenamed the Inquisitor. A woman who could change her limbs into lethal weapons at her will codenamed Reaper. A beast with the power of invulnerability and blessed with amazing strength and speed codenamed Hammer. And a man able to manipulate the body parts and organs of the enemy codenamed Geyser. His team was successful, but soon found themselves out numbered by the enemy as new tactics arose. In need of two members he returned to the asylum to locate two who would become valuable assets to his team.

The lift rattled as it moved down the expansive elevator shaft in the asylum, two men stood silent for a moment as the elevator made no stops moving deep into the basement. “To be honest with you I can't see why you would have any interest in this mutant. He really is a freak of nature.....” Mutters one of the doctors as he looks over at the general. “We received him when he was a child he showed signs of being mentally unstable, and he murdered his mother after he came out of the womb.” The general looks over at the man raising a eyebrow as he hears his complaints. “And just how is that possible?” Asks the general as the doctor goes pale his breathing heavy. “His powers developed right out of the womb........What he does to humans just isn't right.......We had him working with a doctor under heavy supervision and he killed all of them, and he didn't even move from his seat. Their bodies were so badly mutilated that there was no way we could identify them.” The elevator stops the doors sliding open to reveal a dimly lit hallway the lights flickering on and off. “Well what did you do with him?” Asks the general as they both step out into the hall the elevator doors closing behind them. “We attempted to put him in hyper sleep in a containment tube.......” Says the doctor as his legs quiver beneath him. “And?” The general asked growing impatient with his fear. “Every thing looked fine......But he still managed to take the lives of the scientist putting him in the sleep while he was asleep!” Screams the doctor more than obviously scared out of his mind by this patient. “We've left him in that tube for ten years.......” Mutters the doctor as he walks down the hallway swiping his card on a door at the end of the hall the gears creaking after so many years without use. “There is your mutant......” Mutters the doctor his voice down to a whisper as the lights in the chamber come on a few of them no longer working due to lack of maintenance.

The man in the tube appeared to be around the age of nineteen his body looking to be in good shape as he floated in the liquid a breather mask the only thing keeping him alive. As the general stepped up to the glass tube the air in the room grew cold as a feeling of terror began to cross over him. The general fell to one knee taking out a syringe and injecting himself with it the feeling soon subsiding. “What the hell are you?” He says as he looks up at the young sleeping man who had almost driven him insane in a matter of seconds. The general steps up to the command pad pressing the sequence of buttons to release him from his prison. Red alarm lights flash on as the tube is drained of fluid the glass sliding up allowing him to be free. The young man lays on the ground looking lifeless as the general approaches him. His eyes shoot open his hand ripping off the mask as he turns to face the man with a confused look in his eyes. “You're wondering why you powers aren't working on me why I'm not like the others aren't you?” The young man glares at him slowly nodding his head his black hair bobbing slowly. “I'm different.......And you, you're a essential piece to this puzzle.” He looked back at the doctor cowering in fear. “Does he have a name?” Calls the general as he turns his attention back to the young man. “N...No.....He was never given one.” The doctor says as he sinks down into the corner breathing quickly. “Then I'll name you Malice.......” Says the general with a smile as he offers a gloved hand to him. Malice looks at his hand questionably, but takes it allowing him to help him off of the pad. “Can you talk son?” Asks the general as he comes eye level with Malice. “Y....Yes.....I....Know......V...Very.....Little.....English.” Replies Malice as he gazes up at the man his accent thick his country of origin still a mystery. “Well we'll get you someone to help you learn.” The general says as he pries open one of the lockers taking out some clothing for the boy. “Why does he trust you?!?” Call the doctor confused as Malice slips on the clothing with the greatest of ease. “Because I haven't tried to neglect his powers I've proven my strength to him, and this is how I get the trust of my other soldiers.” Replies the general as Malice stand behind him, his Grey eyes observing the room. “I killed vany men here.” He says slowly stumbling over his words as he speaks feeling no guilt for his previous actions. “Come doctor we've got another recruit to find.”

They moved into the next hall a row of rooms on both sides as they walked down the halls examining the mutants in the rooms. “We'll stop when I find one that catches my eye.” Says the general as they continue on Malice following behind the men with his arms crossed. They stop at each cell examining the mutant that it held within. “Is this vhat I am?” Malice asked slowly coming up with the words as he examined the cells closely. The general nodded looking back at him feeling no need to speak as the doctor guided them down the hall pointing out each mutant.
