i had the weirdest dream about pharaoh atem last night. he had decided to stay in this world. (somehow he had his own body)
it had been 10 years since he battled yugi, he owned his own buisness dealing in egyptian antiques............ he always felt he had stayed for a reason but couldnt seem to find it. and then he snapped, feeling completely alone and wishing that he went to the afterlife instead of staying. he tried to kill yugi, because hes the one who talked him into staying (since atem said he said he wanted to because he felt like there was something he needed to do). he drank everyday, all the time, losing himself completely. yugi tried to ask what was wrong, but atem threw the glass of alcohol he was drinking, at him. he thought that he had to stay for something missing in his heart. he found ancient scrolls of a marriage that was his. but this memory he couldnt find. and it drove him crazy that he couldnt find this love anywhere.
then he ended up finding out that she was here. she came into the store that he owned, and he knew right away that it was her. he told her everything and of course she didnt believe him. she thought he was crazy, "an acient pharaoh, what is this guy on" she thought to herself. so she left never to return and atem stopped eating and drank even more. yugi found him one morning on the floor and he tried to wake him, and felt for his pulse but there wasnt one. atem had died holding one of the scrolls with him and his wife on it...........his wife had written on it, "no matter where you are, I will find you. and I will always love you and be by your side."
