Happy (or sad) Rememberance day to all!

So, my school had this big assembly for the whole thing. Frankly, I am very dissapointed in our school's lack of discipline.
I mean, we're staind up, about to do the Last Post and everything, and there were all these cocky jackass grade 9's who start talking, and laughing.
We had a little bit of a drama presentation from the gr.11's, and there is a line where one of the girls says "Why should I join the army? So I can get shot by some German guy?' All the grade 9's began to laugh, and a couple drew swastikas, and did other Hitler symbols.

Its one thing to disrespect those who are performing, because we all put a lot of work into our presentations.
But to mock those who FOUGHT and DIED for your right to be even SITTING there texting and talking and laughing away, well thats just a bit out of line.
I have never been more angry at the defaults of human life.

But there were some very good things within the service as well.
A lot of groups were involved. I myself, was in the band.
My favorite little performance was by the 6 members of the dance team. 3 girls and 3 boys.
It was to an instumental version of "My Immortal" by Evenescence. (please check my spelling on that guys!)
I can't even begin to describe the dance itsself, much less the emotion the dancers all managed to put into it.
I have never wanted to re-start dancing more in my life.
If I end up getting the video link from another friend, I will most definetly be posting it here for you folks to see.

So, that is my little rant for today! Look out for more of my opinions on the things that go on in my day!
And please, show some respect for the veterans tomorrow! They died for all of us.
