"Romeo and Juliet"
How did Shakespeare know
What star-crossed lovers be?
They are you
And me.
Though we lack warring clans
We have a state boundary
Dividing you
And me.
The days become a muddled mess
When I think of what can't be
Between you
And me.
I know your happy with another
Which I can plainly see.
But I still wish for you
And me.
But there is a glint of hope
In the darkness surrounding we.
We'll get older, you
And me
I will not thrust the dagger
For love may someday be
Between you, my Romeo
And Juliet, who's me.
