My love for him runs far too deep
When he's mad I cry myself to sleep.
It's absurd I know, to care for somebody I can never hold.
But he has a grip on my heart, that I wish will never part.
He's the one I dream of, the one who makes my heart beat faster and slower.
The one who's face runs through my mind on replay, his voice a recording in my head.
So yes it may be absurd to only hope for just three words,
Yet I wouldn't have it any other way,
Because my love for him is deep.
