I remember three years ago..me and my best frien were walking to class and after years of faking homophobia for my parents (which was sad cuz I had a gay best friend), I turn to my best friend and ask, "Can you keep a secret?"
"Sure! What's up?"
I lowered my sight to my feet and blushing, I told him, I'm gay.
He put his hands on my cheeks and smiled at me.
"I know you are." he said smiling. I covered my face with my hands embrarassed. I should've known. We had known each other for years, and he knew all about me. How did I not know he knew. He held my cheeks in his palms and brought my face down until our lips were almost touching.
"I've always known, just by the way you act..."
He kissed me. It was funny. He was 13 and I was 14 when it happened, and yet it felt we were grown ups.
"Dezzy," he said when he finally decided to let me breathe, "Let me be your first."
"My first what?" I asked, cocking my head to the side.
"Your first boyfriend!" He said. Jamie once again took my breath away.
