Does it seem that during times that are supposed to be filled with joy, there is always something to ruin the peaceful times? With an uncertain economy, people's lives are disrupted by finacial issues. People may face uncertainty with their job status. Families agrue in front of you, friends shun you, or death may take one close to you. Why must we deal with this? For once can we come together and celebrate with those loved ones and forget the troubles of daily life? Can corperations and government just get off our backs and let us enjoy this time? Some people do get to enjoy this time, but why can't it be worldwide? We are bombarded with images in tv and in ads of perfect holiday moments, but we can never get perfection. With a new year in front of us let's hope and work as a community to help others not only in the holidays, but everyday, to make sure no one is left out.
