Kokushi was born on Korriban, a sith planet with a sith academy, at a young age he had dreams of becoming a "great" Sith lord, like all the males in his family became, Kokushi's father, Kiran was a sith, but loathed what he had done, he had a moral code, and tried to teach Kokushi that as well, Kokushi hadn't cuaght on enough before he was sent to the academy, he was trained along with other apprentices to become a sith, his father was attempting to get the family off the planet and into a nuetral system so that they wouldn't have to live that life any longer, his 'fellow' sith got wind of his intentions and the day before Kokushi was to arrive home from the academy, a sith apprentice, the two who had learned of his father's betrayel snuck into the house and murdered the entire family. Kokushi arrived at home only to find an empty house, having no clue what happened to his family, Kokushi only found after his search a ticket with his name on it to another planet, and his father's sith lightsaber, both of which Kokushi has kept to this day, being the only memorials he has of his family. Kokushi was forced to stop his apprenticeship at the academy, and even joined a gang to support himself, with his small amount of training, Kokushi was sent on assassin missions, his father's lightsaber working well for him, Kokushi only had a limited understanding of the force and could not utilize it as of yet. Over the years his skills grew. After finally learning the fate of his family, Kokushi wanted revenge, but the two Sith had already been murdered by the time he had learned of their deeds. Kokushi left the gang he was in, as well as planet korriban, to a nuetral planet, it was there he met an old general, retired from combat, the man was like a father to Kokushi, and after several years of a normal lifestyle, the man told Kokushi about a war going on, one that involved the Sith, by this time, his father's lightsaber had stopped working, the power cell had died, and Kokushi had no idea how to fix it, so he was stuck with using vibro weapons, and blasters. Kokushi set off of the small planet, bidding his friend farewell to his friend, and taking on assassin jobs by a small faction group working against the sith. Kokushi was a highly prized assasin, but after two years of his work, he was betrayed by his benefactors, and sent on a suicide mission, Kokushi was to kill a high ranking sith official, by now the sith title was not only for dark jedi, but a classification for the entire army, Kokushi took on the job willingly, and in a small one man craft infiltrated a sith flagship. the job was a simple one, one which Kokushi could easily pull off, but what he wasn't counting on was the ship's crew, consisting of dark jedi masters, and apprentices, a strike force, Kokushi was found out before he could carry out his mission, and chased down by one of the Apprentices who hoped to make a name for hiomself by killing Kokushi, they fought in the core room, Kokushi was easily over matched and had to rely on a thermal detonator to help distract the sith, the explosions in the core room that Kokushi set off after leaving it affected the core. Kokushi barely made it to his ship before the Sith vessel exploded, knocking out most of the systems on Kokushi's ship. the small one manned ship was flung through space, Kokushi deactivated every other system but lifesupport, just enough to keep him alive, and there he was for three days, in a state somewhere between conscioussness and unconscioussness, Kokushi's ship was found by a scout vessel, which was sent to investigate the explosion, a republic cruiser revived him and kept him in the medical bay until he could fully recover, in that time period the republic had made its transition to the empire, and Kokushi was thought to be a sith, since they had found his father's saber on his person when tey recovered him. They let him off at Coruscant, Kokushi was to meet with the emporer to recount the ship's destruction, but instead it was discovered that he had been the one to destroy the ship, another betrayel by the group that were his benefactors for a time. Kokushi, under the guise of a welthy man fled Coruscant, his ship almost crashed on Degobah, where Kokushi discovered his Master, Yoda, and the jedi temple. Kokushi was the first padawan, there by accident, Kokushi adhered to the jedi code, and whenever he went on missions, he kept the sith lightsaber with him, as a reminder of his father's trials, of who he was, and of who he wanted to become, Kokushi kept it asecret form everyone, and used that to keep ihm to the jedi ways. Kokushi never replaced the drained power cell, nor has he tampered with the saber. Kokushi found a new life for him at the temple, a new family with the arrival of the other padawans, and new enemies....
