Never Leaving You...

<Chapter 1>

Leaving is the hardest part. I couldn't bare seing you walk away. Your back was turned and your mind made up, you weren't coming back. Ever. I begged, Pleaded, I even thretened you. But nothing changed you just kept walking, as if i wasn't there. To think I loved you.I didn't care, and appearently neither did you. On that day i forgot about you and moved on.

You were no longer a distraction to me. I could reach my goal without worries. I will become Hokage even if it meant forgeting you.

-present day-

I stared into the sky from the balcony of the Hokage's office. I made it. I reached my goal. I, Uzumaki Naruto am Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village."Big brother Naruto, you do know that you're...not alone in this right." My little sister(1) stated.I walked over to her patted her head, since I was about an inch taller than her. She crossed her arm's and nodded softly. I think she spend's to much time alone.

Soon after Zero walked in with reports from their mission. "Yasumi?" Yasumi turned her head. "Yeah I'm..I'm coming." Zero walked over and placed a hand on Yasumi's should, A look of worry crossed his face. "Be home before it get's dark, okay, Naruto-kun?" and with that her and Zero left.

I plopped down into my chair with a big sigh. "so?" A deep voice echoed behind me. a little shocked I clenched my fist. Then realizing who it was spoke. "Oh it's you, Sai." I turned around and faced the younger boy. "How's it going, Hokage-sama?" Naruto sighed again. "Ah, what's the point. Nothing goes right anyway." Sai smiled and leaned toward me. " Oh, something's do go right, Kit." Kit. Memories flooded my in my head.

When we were kids, we found a fox kitten at school. Naruto look! I rushed over to see what the comotion was about. A baby fox. Barley had it's eye's open.I picked it up and brought it inside to Iruka-sensei. "Iruka-sensei, look!" I held it up to him.He smiled warmly. Since I was young I lived with him. He said to bring it home after school and so i did. We took good care of the kitten. It grew storng and smart. Eventually we had to let it go. That night i cried nonstop. Iruka held me until i fell asleep. The next day He left and did not return for months. Slow. Painful. Months.

Sai pressed his warm lip's against mine. They were soft. Very soft. His hand caressed my hair. Tears threatened to slip out of my eye's, but I held them back. For someone younger than me he was very mature, smart, artistic, and a good lover. Yet I still felt an emptiness in my heart. When he pulled back he gave me the warmest smile I've ever seen on his face. I did my best to smile and not burst in to tears. It worked. It was currently 12:30, I was walking home. Sai had to go home and finish some art work for the hokage tower.

I arrived to a screaming Yasumi. A dark figure stood at the door arguing back at her. I was about a block away when she saw me and yelled. "Go back to the tower, NOW!!!" The figure turned and ran toward me. I didn't know what to do, so I ran as fast as I could. Shooting around corners. Up hills. I ran into the forest until I reached the lake. The figure dark figure slowed as I turned around.

I didn't know what to do. I shut my eye's tight. I'm the Hokage running from some stranger. Great. Clenching my fist, I pulled it back and swung. It was caught and squeezed tightly. "Who the ******** are you and what do you ******** want?!?!?!" I tried to pull my hand away, but was pulled in closely by my waist. A familiar set of lips pressed agianst my own. He pulled back and reveled two onyx orb's.

"Do you really have to ask that question, Dobe?"
