A glass wall between you & me
So hard to see
So hard to be set free
Controlling, I cannot go through
What holds me back is from inside
Inside my mind
A Wall designed
To hold me in
Or to keep you back
It’s giving space
I can’t react
Won’t hold you close
While this wall is intact
And I know that I boast
Can’t face what I chose
And I knew
That just for you
I couldn’t be somebody else
So we break down the walls
Barriers that divide
But cannot hide behind
The lies can be, more painful than the truth
You won’t look at me
The glass won’t shatter
If only I fight me
