Just finished watching Pandorum. Awesome movie. Kind of a mix of Sci Fi and horror.
2153 - A space probe lands on a planet named Tanis. Sends back evidence of a human livable planet.
2174 - Earth's resources are at their limit. A spacecraft is launched, named Elysium.
The trip to Tanis takes... a very long time (I don't recall them stating how long). Due to this, the flight crew takes shifts. While one is working, the others are in hyperbolic sleep chambers. As are thousands of other non-crew personnel, await arrival to Tanis.
A man named Bower awakes from sleep, to find the ship a mess. Dust on the controls and power fluctuations. Upon waking his commanding officer, he sets out to try to fix the problem and see what has happened to the rest of the passengers, only to find something he didn't expect to find has decided to breed inside the ship...
I don't want to give away too much more of the movie, but if you like Sci Fi movies, with scary bits, this is for you.
