I remember going to some department store with my best friend, Linda. We were constantly on the watch for vampires since there were A LOT of them in this store. You could easily tell which were the vampire by their clothes, which were always dark dark DARK greens, blues, & purples. Linda (who somehow turned into a vampire but never turned evil...) & I were walking past this one aisle, & I looked to my right, & there was a male vampire digging through the clothes rack. I immediately froze, forcing Linda to turn around & see what I was looking at.
"Oh my gosh..." she whispered.
The vampire seemed to hear us & popped his head up, listening for more. Then he began sniffing the air, slowly turning to face us both. We both freaked out & ran, mostly for my life, since Linda was already a vampire like I said before. We finally stopped running & ended up by the greeting card section, I leaned up against the shelf to take a breather but by then, it was too late because there were three more vampires on this aisle; two males & a female.
One of the males broke out into a grin, watching me intently. "Your blood, my dear, smells devine. Like sweet, sweet candy..."
Linda & I had to once more, begin running. We ran as fast as we could all the way to the teen boy department, but far too soon, they caught up with us again so we had to flee. We finally got far enough away that they never caught up to us. We ended up on top of the department store, on this ledge. Right below us (about thirty feet or so) were all four of the vampires we ran into. They were talking amongst themselves, thinking about splitting up to find me.
Suddenly, Linda tells me to hold onto her tightly & as soon as I do, she EXTREMELY fast I must add, flies over to the other ledge that was about another thirty feet away from the one we were first on. This second ledge had a tunnel that went into this bell tower, it looked like. We both hid in there. Linda said she knew that the other vampires HAD to have heard the wooshing sound from us gliding over top of them so they would be in there soon. Sure enough, all four of the vampires came barrelling in, towards me. I started freaking out; the vampires were closing in on me, & I had no idea where Linda went !
I was sitting up against the wall, with my knees up to my chest. The female vampire was on my left while the three males were on my right. The male vampire that had spoken to me earlier was closing in on my neck, his mouth wide open, fangs showing; the other vampires were hissing happily at this. I ripped myself away from him, taking him off guard. The female vampire to my left grabbed my arm immediately & started to dig her fangs into my wrist, but I pulled my arm away as well. The male vampire that first tried to bite me moved to my front, pulling my knees apart with a force I could never imagine. He held me down tightly, along with the others, & brought his lips to my mouth, breathing, "I won't kill you... yet." then moved his lips to my neck, exposing his sharp fangs. I felt the hot breath on my neck, & started shaking. Just then, the floor dropped out from underneath all of us. I screamed, flailing for the rope hanging nearby. The other three vampires fell, except for the one who was determined to drink my blood. He grasped onto the rope, as well...-
