Screams filled the house as I gripped her tightly. My childhood friend Kylie was back from vacation. I haven’t seen her in forever. Her brown hair wasn’t as short as it was, but it grew to medium length, and her eyes were still the same beautiful blue eyes that sparkled with wonder and curiosity. She was still perky, loud, upbeat, but quiet when she needed to be. She still gets embarrassed easily. I know this because when she dashed through the door at nine in the morning, she accidentally hugged Lucas, who was confused until I explained him everything to him. I told him that when I was very little, Zachary and I were walking down the street to the store that was a block away when this girl looked at us with big lovely blue eyes. Zachary thought she was just the cutest thing, so instead of returning home with milk and chips, we came home with a little girl the same age as me. I didn’t want to admit that she was the coolest girl I’ve met because then everyone would think I was soft. I thought we had nothing in common, until she told me that she liked Lady Gaga. It was then were our friendship started to build up until now. Then, she had to go away on vacation because of her scholar ship in highs cool. If she found out what happened and how I dropped out, I’m sure she’ll flip out, murder me, bring me back, murder me again, bring me back and keep me alive. Evon’s eyes widen when he saw her and I think he almost fainted. They hugged and it was then when I was caught off guard. Kylie told me that Evon and her were now dating. Now I was confused, but I pushed that aside and focused on the fact that she’ll have to be in on all of this as well, so, we sat her down at the table and explained everything. She didn’t seem all that mad, but a little bit worried. “ Wow,” she finally said, “ I never expected this kind of action from you Heather. But still, I’ll have to come with you guys. You see, when I was traveling, I stole a neon purple Porsche from Italy to get to the airport to fly back to California.” “ So, what happened to the car?” Lucas asked, taking the words out of my mouth. “ It’s on it’s way here. I’m having it shipped over.” We all looked at her like she had just stepped out of a movie premier with the most handsomest guy on the planet, but I know her as much as any one, that this was only the first level of how extreme her and I could get now that we’re together once more. It just struck me as odd that she remembered me, and I didn’t remember her until I heard her voice and saw her big blue eyes gazing at me while I slept on the couch. She was wearing an argyle shirt, black legging that had white peace signs all over them, converse, and a purple skirt. People considered us to be the coolest people in school when I was still there. Oh well. She still never lost her sense of style, although mine had changed completely. I didn’t want to tell her about my family’s death, or else she’ll burst out in tears just like I did. By now, Kylie was out like a light on the couch. Her and I were more like than the Olsen Twins, but none of that held us back, from our many adventures and dangers we had coming our way.
