Ripped Journal
ch. 9
Zero put his finger on the page before. "According to this, we have to go into a forest." Paul nodded his head. "Yeah, uh-huh. Let's just go into any random forest. Totally knowing where we will go." Avery turned around. He pointed behind one of the buildings. "There. Just a mile and a half to the forest."
By the time they made it into the forest, the sun had fallen. Avery put his hand on a tree. "Gah!" He fell to the ground. "Why do I always get hurt?" He looked at his hand. It was a spark, from an electricity source nearby. "Sorry," Zero said over his shoulder. "Just practicing chidori transferring." Paul's head tilted to one side. "And that is...?" Zero turned to Paul. "Using and extra amount of chakra to send the chidori through objects and out the other side, changing chidori into a projectile that can move through walls." Avery stomped the ground. "And why don't I have anything special? Whoop-dee-doo, I can shoot bugs. Whoopie, fricking bugs."
"Let's just keep moving." As they walked forward, they realized they needed rest. The next morning, they made it to the center forest. A man was leaning against the tree, with his baggy shorts, a t-shirt, his leg up against the tree, and a cigarette. Zero put his hand up. "Uh... hello." The man's sea blue eyes eyes popped open. His cigarette that was pointing up dropped from his mouth. The smoke disappeared as soon as it hit the ground. "I-----it's.. you. I-it's... you! It's you! It's you!"
